Feels Like Fall

The cooler weather has now hit New York. So, I decided to finally make a post more geared towards Autumn. I know, it is time. I love the warm weather and am trying to hang-on to it as a long as I can. However, I am really excited by all the Fall fashion. For this look, I chose the 'MIDNIGHT GRAPHIC KNIT DRESS' from Applonia Criss of CHANTKARE . I simply adore this sleek long knit dress with a deep "V" neckline. It is sexy and fabulous, but still keeps you warm. I added this gorgeous 'Fur Cosack', which was just recently released from Jin Elfan of Belgravia. If you have not already heard, Belgravia is the new luxury line from Leverocci. You simply must see her line of high end pieces. Pure indulgence! Speaking of Leverocci, Jin also realesed a new skin line, call 'Cara', which is so so stunning! It comes in 5 skin tones and a ton of 'add-ons' for each skin. You get several eye make-ups, brow options, lipsticks, cheek enhancers, breast dehancers, breast enhancers and freckles. I know I am forgetting something, becuase Jin thought of everything! I particulary like that she included breast dehancers, becuase I usually find the base breasts on many skins to be too big. I may be odd, but I prefer a smaller boobs in SL. LOL! So, I am overjoyed when a skin designer gives me that alternative. Oh! I am wearing the skin for this post too! I really love how unique Jin's skins are. They really look unlike no other skin I have seen in SL. They are very soft and striking at the same time. Anyway, let me stop blabbling and I hope you like what you see!

*With Love From....Hunt Finds.....Part 1

I know I am a bit late on the previews for the 'With Love From....Hunt', but I still want to share some of my favorite finds in a few installments. This time of year there are so many amazing events going on, so it can be difficult keep up with everything. Anyway, in regard to 'With Love From...', I tried to create my looks using predominantly finds from the hunt. I must say that all the items I received from this hunt were exceptional. All the designers really went all out to give us high quality creations for a mere $10L! This is definitely one hunt you do NOT want to miss. And, just so you know, the second half of this hunt, which is called 'Happy Holidays', will be starting on the December 10th at ISPACHI. I will have some previews to show you in an up coming post. 'Pretty Woman' from E! Eclectic Apparel

Now, I know I just showed you a fabulous trench coat from designer, Eclectic Wingtips. But, now I have something a bit more revealing to show you that she just created as well. It's a dress that was obviously inspired by the super short mini dress that Julia Roberts wore in the classic movie, 'Pretty Woman'. Eclectic definitely recreated this dress quite accurately and this is one dress that will add spice to any woman's wardrobe. Plus, it comes in 8 luscious colors. The New 'Pea Trench Coat' from E! Eclectic Apparel!

I love trench coats and can't seem to get enough of them in RL and SL. They are perfect transitional jacket for Fall and Spring.  They can add instant class to just about any look. Now, I have purchased quite a few trench coats, since I have been in SL and adore all of them. But this design is definitely 'one-of-kind' (at least to me). Eclectic Wingtips managed to create an incredible looking jacket with absolutely NO prims! Now, I know that's hard to believe. And,to be perfectly honest, if I had had been in a store looking at this trench and saw that it had no prims and system skirt on top of it, I would have definitely passed it up and chalked up the fabulous look on the vendor ad to just plain Photoshop magic. Now, I know you are thinking, did she just say, "system skirt"? Yup, and I think the way Eclectic used it is absolutely brilliant. System skirts have definitely been making a come back in casual wear. Eclectic uses this layer as the jacket's skirt. And it fits and looks absolutely amazing. I can't tell you how freeing it is, not having to worry about sizing and fussing with intruding prims. However, I don't feel this 'Pea Trench Coat', could look as gorgeous as it does, if it weren't for Eclectic's extraordinary hand drawn details. Her shading and highlights are on point! She is definitely a very gifted artist and I am overjoyed that she sent me these review copies. Thank you Eclectic! This gorgeous piece comes is 8 brilliant colors and I just adore them all. BTW, I will be adding a section to my blog for those of you, who may need help modifying their shape for system skirts. They tend extra curvage on the bottom, so you may want to slim down that part of your avi's shape, so you like you normally do. It definitely works well as a jacket skirt, since it adds the fullness that the prim usually does. But you may want to resize to fit a skirt. Many shape makers do include a shape just for this purpose. However, if you created your own shape (like me) or were just given a standard shape, I can give you a basic overview on how to do that. Of course, your shape must be copy/mod. Personally, I would never buy a shape that was not copy/mod. But everyone has their own personal tastes.

Warm & Cozy in Hyper Culture's New 'Thick Woollen Dress'

Christensia Parkin is yet another fabulous designer, who has been hard at work creating amazing designs to make this Fall season a gorgeous one. I was really excited when I saw that Christensia had created a this 'Thick Woollen Dress' as a 'humpday special', since I have a 'thing' for sweater dresses lately. So, of course, I ran down to HYPER CULTURE to pick it up. I basically I fell in love with the dress as soon as I put it on. Christensia's expertly crafted prims move flawlessly, making for one full and cozy dress. So, you can just imagine how excited I got when I found out that she decided to do a whole line of them in 10 brilliant colors. Anyway, suffice to say, this is definitely going to be one piece that I will wear to death over the cooler months ahead. Thankfully, it now comes in more that one color and that Christensia was kind if enough to send me review copies. Muahhhhs Christensia! I wanted to show you all of the colors, but unfortunately I had trouble with black and gray rezing for me (my two favorite shades too). SL has not been kind to me lately. *LOL*. Luckily, I was able to capture the other 8. I am sure will agree that these are the perfect Fall dress.
