A Note To All Designers and Readers

I sincerely apologize for my lack of posts over the last month and half. I have been quite ill. In fact, it is an illness that I have been struggling with for awhile. At times, the symptoms become very severe. I just started yet another treatment plan. So far, it seems to be working well. I will be doing my best right now to get caught-up with my blog.Not only do I have a lot of incredible designs to show, but I am also trying to rework the content and format of my blog a bit. So, I can include mor skin reviews, more home and garden, focus on hair, more close-up features on accessories, etc.. I am open to all suggestions and feedback. I know my pics have been a bit crappy lately, since I think my graphic card is on it's way out. Please bear with me until I fix the problem. Thank you all for your continued support. I am sorry if I have disappointed anyone....

Last Day for August Collabor88!

I am going to try and make this post quick. This is the last day for the August cycle of Collabor88! I really wish the last month was not so crazy for me, because I really wanted to post every single creation for this round. Sadly, I was not able to. All of the creators who were involved with August's round, which was also Collabor88's 2 year anniversary, did an outstanding job. The theme is vintage 1920's (aka "Razzle Dazzle"). Just a think of a huge party of Gatsby's. All of the creations in this post are August Collabor88 exclusives (except for my Maxi Gossamer "FuFu Bag")!
Maylee Oh (of The Secret Store) created this exquisite "Sequined Flapper Dress". It also comes in another version with a different pattern. Unfortunately, while preparing to show you the second dress in my close-up picture, I made a huge mistake. I added the new dress to my avatar, but forgot to take off the old dress. When I went to snap the pic, I did not notice that the previous dress was still showing and covering-up the new dress. It was not until I was finished editing my pics that I noticed this. So, I apologize to everyone, especially Maylee. Ms. Oh, as most of you know is one of my all time favorite SL designers. It has been a pleasure watching her creations evolve and become more amazing with each new release. Her designs are always perfectly rendered and textured, which shows just how much love and care go into her work. You simply must grab this dress and demo it NOW, if you have not already done so yet!

I paired this dress with these fabulous "Casinelle" shoes from Allegory Malaprop of  Schadenfreude. Not only are these shoes beautiful, but they are texture change too! Allegory created a HUD, which gives you the ability to change the color of each part of shoe (ie, the sole, sides, middle, book, heel, etc..). They are also come in a "materials" version too! Another MUST demo! Here is what the HUD looks like.

This gorgeous skin that I am wearing, is from Hart Larsson of PXL Creations. He created a lovely vintage version of his 'Kate' skin, which comes in 4 gorgeous make-up and a new 'vintage' skin tone. Each skin also comes with 2 different brow shapes and brow tattoos - Vintage and Standard. The skin itself has no brows, so you can wear your own brow tattoos or none at all. He also made Slink appliers to go with the new skin tone as well. You can buy the skins and appliers separately, or you can buy them all in one extra discounted pack. I am wearing the 'KATE Vintage "Paris" makeup' in the above images. So, please make sure to go and demo it!

Caelyn Hancroft is quickly making a name for herself. Her brand Cae, houses some of the most stunning mesh jewelry on the grid. For this cycle Collabor88, she created this gorgeous "Dazzle" necklace and tiara. Both pieces are texture change via script too!

I know I am blabbing a lot, but I am so excited about everything in this post! Bubbles Clawtooth created this seriously fabulous mesh hair style called, "Say Yes". Bubble's Hair is always brilliant and is always a MUST demo!

Normally, I would go on about the decor at this point, but I am in a hurry! Collabor88 is closing soon! Well, I will mention one more thing, besides the lovely "Boudoir Vanity" from floorplan and the awesome "Evelyn Piano" from Alouette. Mesh Peacocks! I simply adore these mesh "White Peacocks" from Aime Takaaki of *MishMish*. Aime created versions for rezzing and for wearing! They are so adorable and wonderfully made. I am really in love with all of Aime's creations.

Pretty Things

Ahh! Everything has been so crazy me this last month and half. I am sooooo behind! I am freaking!!! I know... Take DEEP BREATHS! For this post, I have a lot of gorgeous new releases. A stunning new skin from Shyla Diggs (of Belleza), called "Leila". You can tell she put a lot of hard work into this gorgeous creation, which is also an Arcade gacha exclusive! There are a total of 15 skins (3 RARES), which come in different make-ups and different tones, that you can win. Trust me, you will want all of them. Be sure to stay tuned for more posts featuring this fabulous skin.

This lovely 'Eri' dress that I am wearing is from Nevery Lorakeet of  *LpD*. I love he wispy flirty feel to this dress. It makes me feel that Summer is not yet over. 

I know you can't really see the details of my accessories. I may have to go back and fix this. Well, in the meantime, I am wearing these amazing new "IBIZA" wedges from Claire Messenger of N-core  Each part are of  the shoe can be customized via HUD. You have a different texture options for the wedge, sole, bow, logo, side, etc... Plus, they are also seriously cute!N-core  has released several new styles that I have you show you, so stay tuned!

The is wonderful "Embroidery Clutch" is from Larcoco Mathy of C'est la vie. I absolutely love the ornate details on this clutch. It is a L’accessoires  exclusive this month, so make sure you run and grab it before it is gone! It comes in 4 yummy exclusive colors and in limited quantities. 

Gyorgyna Larnia (of LaGyo) created a brilliant 'Baroque'collection for this round of The Arcade! In the above pictures, I am wearing her "Baroque Collier & Earrings" in gold. However, you will have to try your luck in order to grab this particular set. There are many different pieces you can win - Necklaces, earrings, clutches and even brows! I've been in a blonde mood lately. I love this recent release Truth Hawks, called "Lyma". I have to say that Truth's blonde's textures are perfect! I always have a hard time finding the right shade of blonde, as well as one that looks natural. All of Truth's blonde tones are perfect! So are his other tones too! 

OMG! I am in LOVE with this new "Port Isaac Pier Set" by Isla Gealach of Cheeky Pea! It feels so beautiful and serene. I love clean lines and light white washed colors. This set is a FaMESHed exclusive and you can choose from a PG or an ADULT set.

Will you still love me when I'm no longer young and beautiful?

Have I told you just how much I love this round of Collabor88? I think I have, but I just can't get over how amazing it is, so I will  tell you again. Not only is the theme brilliant, but all of the designers really outdid themselves. I wish I could blog everything, but it would take me way into the next round of Collabor88, since I am the slowest blogger on Earth. Just in case you do not know, the them is called, "Razzle Dazzle". It is inspired by the the 'Roaring '20s' and 'The Great Gatsby'. All of the items mentioned below are Collabor88 exclusives

For this post, I chose to wear this stunning "Claudette dress", from Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice. I paired it a fabulous "Mink Princess Stole" from Sanya Bilavio of .: ryvolter :.. I have been searching for the perfect mink stole and now I have found it! 

I had a very difficult time choosing what jewelry to wear with my ensemble, since there are so many lovely pieces to be found at this month's Collabor88. I chose the very elegant and versatile, "Florentine Lover's" necklace and bracelet from Maxi Gossamer. I love the fact the both the jewels and the metals are all texture change, leaving me with a multitude of style options. 

One of my most delightful discoveries from this cycle of Collabor88, is from Nina Helix of .Birdy. Skins. I have just recently heard about her skins, but have not got around to trying them on until now. Her 'Aria Skin', which I wearing in these photos, is so lovely.I am impressed by her great eye for detail and beautifully rendered features. Not to mention her fresh and dewy skin tones. 'Aria' comes in 6 beautiful make-ups in the 'Pure' skin tone. Each make-up comes with 2 brow styles (thin and thick) in 4 different brow colors (which are embedded into the skin), 3 blush tattoos, several mole tattoo options, and 2 different make-up styles (dewy or regular). You really must demo this skin for yourself. 

The hair was another difficult choice, since there are a tons of wonderful hairstyles this round. I decided on Marisa Kira's (of "D!va Hair") "Layla" hair style. I love this short curly bob with wispy tendrils.

The "Alders Living Room" decor is from the uber talented Colleen Desmoulins of The Loft. This art deco inspired living room is to die for!

Last Days Of Summer

Labor Weekend is soon approaching with an air of melancholy. The days are quite noticeably shorter now, at least on my hemisphere, and that carefree feeling of Summer is just about gone. Dazzled!

Well, I am back! I had to take a bit of break for issues that I had to attend to in RL. So, it has been awhile since I have been posting regularly. It feels strange. LOL! I also have a lot of amazing new releases to talk about and I really do not know where to start.
I guess I will start with the most obvious - August's cycle of Collabor88! It is Collabor88's 2 year Anniversary! Yay! I can't get over the fact that I have been blogging this event for 2 years now. I am one of the fortunate bloggers, who has been a part of Collabor88's Press Team from the very beginning. I still wonder to this day, why someone would pick me to cover such a spectacular event. I was part of a team that included all of SL's best bloggers and I just couldn't see how I fit in. Regardless of how I ended up being involved with Collabor88, I feel truly honored and fortunate to be a part of it. I knew from day one that this event was going to be really special. The list of designers says it all. Not to mention Collabor88's awesome management team. Because of this perfect collaboration of creative and inspiring people, Collabor88 is more popular than ever! Each new cycle is like Christmas. I am always anxiously waiting to see all the incredible creations each designer has made. For Collabor88's 2 Year Anniversary, the theme is absolutely brilliant! It is called "Razzle Dazzle". Think of classic 1920's style (ie,' The Great Gatsby', flappers, speakeasies, art deco, etc...). The 20's is definitely one of my favorite decades for fashion and design. So suffice it say, I am ecstatic over this month's creations. I know you probably have already seen most of what I am posting, but it never hurts to show it again.

This mesh "Dazzle Gown" from Harry Hyx (of ISON) is to die for! I love the sleek lines that are accentuated with a sequined applique. From the super low "V" neckline to the sheer "cut-out" sleeves, this gown is pure heaven. This dress is also materials enabled. Unfortunately, I use the Firestorm viewer, so I can't show you what it looks like.Firestorm doesn't have this option yet. I think it is definitely time for me to download the SL viewer, so I can show-off all of the amazing effects of this new feature.

I paired this dress with these perfect "Pickford Heels" from Betty Doyle of Ingenue. They are designed to be worn with Slink's mesh bare feet (medium height) and come in nice array of yummy colors. I am always very impressed with Betty's shoes and I really adore that she creates shoes that are made for mesh feet!

This month's Collabor88 has lots of gorgeous jewelry. One of my favorite sets, is Gyorgyna Larnia's (of LaGyo) "Helen Collection"! Gyo really outdid herself, when creating these 'art deco' themed pieces. For this post, I am just wearing the her long 'Helen Necklace'. I will be posting the rest of this collection very soon. Each part of this necklace is color change via HUD. There are two color palates that you can choose from. Or you can just buy all the colors in one big HUD, which I highly recommend. All of the pieces in this collection can be fully customized like this necklace. 

The skin I am wearing is a Collabor88 exclusive from aida Ewing of -Glam Affair-. It is her stunning new 'Katya' skin. This skin is so lovely and is available in 7 different make-ups. Each make-up comes in the Jamaica or Europa skin tone too. 

My hair is yet another beautiful Collabor88 exclusive from Morphine Janick of [monso]. It is called "My Hair - Daisy" and I just love the uber chic cut of this hair. It is 'materials ready' too. My friend showed me a image of what this hair look liked with the materials option on and it is really incredible! It gives the hair so much more depth and shine. I was truly amazed. 

Speaking of Anniversary's, it is L’accessoires First Anniversary this month! All of the 19 designers, who are featured this month, really went all out for this celebration. Please keep in mind that all of the items are exclusive to this event  and are sold in limited quantities. If you like what you see, you better run and grab it! 

 L’accessoires has always been one of my favorite events in SL, especially since I have a serious accessories addiction. In the above image, I have on two L’accessoires event exclusives. I am wearing a gorgeous "Pensamiento" headpiece that comes in 4 different colors from Neftisis Rhiadra of MiWardrobe. I also have on this fabulous "Minimal Bold Ring" from NyuNyu Kimono of Nyu. Still Thinking About A Title...

I was feeling quite fluish the last few days, so it felt like forever since I had posted. Even if I only take a couple days off from SL, there is always so much stuff that has happened in my absence. Marry Lemur of Overhigh is always creating and releasing so many wonderful items. I have no idea how she manages to come up with so many gorgeous designs so quickly, but she does! I seriously love all her latest releases, so it is impossible to choose just one favorite. However, for this post, I chose her new 'Bob' dress.

 I was really drawn to it's chic geometrical print, which is mixed with a relaxed and sexy diaphanous texture.  It just screams Summer, even though it almost Fall. But, I refuse to submit to Autumn clothes just yet!

As for accessories, I added some bold and gold new statement pieces from LaGyo's new Summer Collection. Gyo's new collection is to DIE for! So, do yourself a favor and check it out ASAP. It is located in a Safari-like tent in front of the LaGyo Mainstore. 

I also could not resist this new 'Lion Tail Necklace' from Daphne Klossovsky of HANDverk! Actually, I think it was released a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, I had been experiencing a lot trouble with my inventory and had been missing a lot of items - including this one. I just finally sorted the problem out (literally) and found this stunning necklace that Daphne had released for this round of the Zodiac. I am always amazed at her eye for detail. This is another MUST have!

Ok, I am really EXCITED about these last two items! One of these items are the new Slink feet appliers from -Belleza- ! FINALLY! I have been waiting and waiting for -Belleza- to release their Slink appliers for feet! They had already released their hand appliers, so it just made me that much more impatient. I am addicted to appliers for Slink's mesh feet and hands. I was completely at a loss, since I wear -Belleza-  skin all the time. Anyway, they are beautiful and well worth the wait! Shyla Diggs did an extraordinary job with the texturing! They are in the -Belleza- Mainstore now, so go grab them!

OMG! And these shoes are just too fabulous words! Jin Elfan of Leverocci outdid herself again! These super luxurious 'Satin Wrap Heels' are not only beautiful, but designed to be worn with Slink's medium height mesh feet - which is another aspect about these shoes that I adore. As long as I have applier's from my favorite skin designers, I am set! No more fussing for hours, while trying to match my feet to my skin. I also can not get over how perfectly rendered these shoes are! They are available in a ton of colors and also a plastic version too. You HAVE to try these shoes on right NOW! You will not want to take them off!

Last Few Hours of 'Love Donna Flora'

The 'Love Donna Flora' event is coming to a close in only a matter of hours, so come on down and grab some of the event exclusives that you may have missed out on! A percentage of all event exclusives will be going to help Sqinternet Larnia, of Donna Flora, get the treatment she needs for a fatal disease. She has been fighting breast cancer for the last couple years and it has metastasized to her bones. Last Day For Love Donna Flora

This is the last day for the 'Love Donna Flora' fundraising event. Over one million lindens have been raised to help Squinternet Larnia of Donna Flora to get the treatment she needs. I think most of you know by now that she had been battling breast cancer, which has metastasized to her bones, for the last couple of years. Let's hope that with all of our positive thoughts and prayers, Squint will have what she needs to fight this deadly disease.
