One Last Day Left of 'Hair Fair 2011'

The Much Anticipated 'Amelie'

Whew! I think this may have been my longest post ever! Well, from start to finish I mean. *LOL* I am so in LOVE with the latest skin from -Glam Affiar-, aka 'Amelie', that I wanted to create the best possible pics as humanly possible. This human, as in me... Becuase, I know there are so many artists in SL, who are way more talented than I am. So, lets just say that I fussed A LOT!  I hope you like what you see. To be perfectly honest, the more I played around, the more I became infatuated with this skin! Aida Ewing is a such a gifted skin maker. I can't get over how luminous and perfectly shaded all the skin tones are. The facial features are created to make any shape gorgeous! Plus, you have got to love the make-up palette Aida used for this line. She grabbed shades from this seasons most popular colors trends. This would include: turquoise, amethyst, orange and even yellow. Somehow, Aida makes these brilliant colors work! They are the most lovely make-ups of this Summer. Now, I shouldn't even have to go on about the body, becuase it is so obviously beautiful! However, Aida hit nail on head with 'Amelie's' adeptly rendered neckline, stomach and legs. Absolutely STUNNING!

I know this latest skin release, 'Odette' from the fabulous Lara Hurley, is a bit late. I am doing my best to catch-up with my back logged reviews, from when my laptop was dying. However, as they say, "better late than never". 'Odette' is also definitely one skin you can not pass-up. I was first charmed by this lovely work of art from Lara at the 'CH1C Annervisary' event. At that time, there was only one make-up, but I wore it as much as I could. I was trying to patiently wait for the full release of 'Odette'. Let's just say, the wait was well  worth it and I have been in awe ever since. Lara created the most perfect facial features with extra special attention to the lips. I think Lara's amazing lips have become her signature feature on all her skins. The body is "to-die-for". She renders the female physique with the perfect amount of muscle tone mixed with just the right amount of softness.
'Odette' comes in 11 regular make-ups and three eye shadow tatt layers for more versatility. She also comes with a cleavage layer and hairbase option. Such The Perfectionist....

Ahhh!!! Okay, you would think that with my laptop working and things completely up to par, that so would my posts. But, this post took apprx 24 hrs to complete! It wasn't because I ran into any problems, well...except for myself. *Laughs* I wanted my "come back" posts to be PERFECT! So, I fussed and fussed... and then fussed some more. The more I fuss the worse it gets. I guess I am also paying too much attention to my 'flickr' feedback, which has decreased some. I automatically think that this means my work is going downhill. Well, maybe that is why I have less feedback, or it could just mean nothing. I remember getting excited over the fact that I had 10 views. I was like, "OMG! Ten people actually looked at my picture!". Now, if I don't get close to 10 favs or more, I feel like something is majorly wrong. I don't know if this is just me, who gets like this over flickr feedback, or if many of you feel the same.
Anyway, I have A LOT of great stuff to show you! I have Sebastien Aries's exclusive styles for 'Hair Fair 2011'. Can I just tell you that Sebastien really hit the ball out of the park with these 2 styles?! He created a sex-kittish style, called 'Ingenue', which is adorned with perfect tiara. I mean, what girl does not love a tiara? And, just in case you don't, there is an option to go sans tiara. Sebastien then created a short and very sassy "do", called 'Bombshell', that is to die for! Plus, you have got to love how he names his hair. It makes his beautifully textured styles even more impossible to resist. My First Post With A Working Laptop! This is also feat. *Mimikri* and "LoQ Hairs" from Hair Fair 2011!

Wow! I couldn't believe how fast it took me to complete this post with a working laptop! No crashes, no freezes, no overheating, no extremely slow rez time and NO frustration! Yay! Anyway, I think I found the perfect combo of creations to go with this first post. I have finally been able to style and takes pics of a couple of my favorite designs from Mimikri Kit! I love her classic sexy style mixed with a tiny bit of bohemian flare. This is always a perfect mix for me. I have been long time fan of Mimikri's designs, so it really is an honor to work with her fabulous creations.
I also got a chance to post some amazing new hair styles, which you can find at 'Hair Fair 2011', from the wonderful Gia Pawpad of "LoQ Hairs". I have always loved her hair styles, but let me just tell you.... Gia really outdid herself with this release! Her texturing is on a whole other level and the designs are stunning! I am really in love with her new collection.

They definitely satisfied my massive shoes addiction, at least for a couple of days. They come  in ton of brilliant colors and you definitely need them ALL!

My Laptop Is Being Fixed Today!!!

My laptop is finally going to be fixed today! Yay! After much complaining and headaches from Dell Customer Service, we finally came to a compromise that I hope will work. Please keep your fingers crossed for me! I was hoping for a replacement with a different model that didn't have the "issues" this one had, but unless I send away for over month, there will be no chance of this happening. It wouldn't even be guarateed that they would do with do this for me. So, once again, I apologize for all my recent late reviews and my overall workflow halt. I hope all the amazing designers, who put their faith in me, can forgive me. Once this is fixed, I will be working overtime to catch-up with everything. Thank you all for understanding! It really means a lot to me......
