It's been really tough lately to get my posts out in a timely fashion. Plus, I fear the quality and look of pics are suffering too. I am trying to be patient, while I wait to receive another laptop. I hope it is soon...

Spotlight on *Donna Flora*

I have always associated the name *Donna Flora* with stunning vintage/ retro inspired jewelry and clothes that usually cover the 1920-50s. Squinternet Larnia's creations are always flawless and represent unltimate glamour. So, I can not tell you just how excited I was to be able to review some of her latest releases; including her newest venture....Shoes! And, if you know me, you know I adore shoes!!! I have to apologize in advance for the quality of my pics. My laptop needs to be replaced and everything is failing. It took me two days just to get together these pics, which is a definite sign that Dell better hurry-up! I also have been under-the weather, so that didn't help either. I just wish I had been able to do more justice to these amazing designs the Squinternet created so beautifully. I truly felt like a diva in them.

My Love Affair with -Glam Affair's-, 'Layla'

When I saw in my messages that skin and fashion guru, Aida Ewing, sent me review copies of her latest skin, 'Layla', I nearly fainted! And it wasn't becuase I have been sick. As a blogger, having the chance to review such lovely creations is definitely a dream come true.
'Layla' is absolutely stunning! But then again, I have never worn a skin from 'Glam Affair' that I didn't truely adore. Her features are young, fresh and have the most perfectly pouty lips. The body is expertly rendered, giving 'Layla' a lean and nicely toned body. Her stomach is one of my favorite parts! 'Layla' is available in several skin tones, so their is a shade for everyone. However, I am showing med tan, natural and light tones. 'Layla' also comes in 14 stunning make-ups, which vary from very natural to a more glam appearance. Plus, there is also a 'clean' version that has no make-up (this makes for a total of 15 make-ups). There is a color to suit any wardrobe need and all are equally gorgeous. I honestly couldn't pick a favorite make-up shade! If that is not enough, she comes with 2 brow colors, 4 eyebrow shapes, 2 hairbase options and even several pubic layer options!
I have to admit that I was really nervous creating and writing this post. I bounced back and forth between using Kirsten's for shadows and Phoenix for no shadows. The amount of amazing creators and fabulous designs that can be found at CH1C is unbelievable! The clothes, skins, hair, jewelry and the list just keeps on going! So, I have few things to show you that I mixed up into one gorgeous piece. First off, I can't get enough of this new Lara Hurely skin, called 'Odette', which is a CH1C exclusive. It is absolutely stunning! I have never tried on a skin of Lara's that I didn't love, but this takes the cake. Be prepared to see much more of it! Btw, 'Odette' comes in 3 beautiful skin tones. Each tone comes with a cleavage option too...

CHIC's 1 year Anniversary!!! Plus, a couple other milestones....

Wow! There are quite few anniversaries this time of year. First, as of the last week in May, my blog turned 1 year old and so did my career as an 'SL Fashion' blogger. Boy, I came a long way! LOL! What made this anniversary even sweeter, was being invited to be a part of the uber exclusive SL fashion feed, 'Style Academy'. I was literally in a state of shock after being given this amazing news. I mean, just about every blogger, who I look up to, is part of this amazing feed!
The other exciting annivesary, would be that if CHIC Management. Keira Seerose, who is the head of CHIC, has worked tirelessly to bring us some of the most incredible and well organized events in SL. She definitely has made the SL fashion industry a much more exciting place. Keira is known for bringing us the best of the newest and more established designers to her events. It's always an honor for me to be part them. It is also an honor to be a contributor to her well known blog, 'Chic Style Guide', as well. Keira has definitely played an important part in my career as a blogger and helped me in so many ways.. So, I thank her from the bottom of my heart.

A Very Lazzzzzzzzzzzzzy Sunday!

I was so lazy this Sunday that I actually fell asleep for hours at my keyboard while taking pics :P. However, there are some not so lazy new releases that are featured for this week's Lazy Sunday. First off, Tyr Rozenblum released  new version of the ultra gorgeous 'Teagan' skin line. This is called 'Teagan 2' in Draft. 'Teagan' is beautiful and perfectly rendered. She comes in 3 yummy tones: honey, sugar and mint.
