Christmas 2010 at The Plastik

I need to be honest about the fact that I have been fussing over this post for awhile now. Aikea Rieko's designs are always so amazing that I just want to pay due homage with my photos. Now it's the morning of Christmas Eve and I just finally finished my editing after much deliberation, and I can't even upload to blogspot or Flickr! So, I do apologize for my tardy post and a few more that are on their way. I really got hit this Holiday Season with a lot of RL stuff, so my workflow definitely suffered. Anyway, enough whining already....
Aikea put out one incredible collection for Christmas. She basically did a Holiday variation of every item in her store! And not just clothes, all her skins as well! I am always awe struck after trying on her latest hand drawn textures. They are truly a work of art in their own right. I literally could go on and on about how talented Aikea is and how gorgeous her designs are, but pictures do speak a thousand words. So, if you haven't picked-up any of her clothes or skins for the Holiday (even if it is last minute), I suggest you go now! Many of these pieces, especially the skins, could be worn all year round. Happy Holidays from Action! - No More Mrs. Clause?!

Now, I know this isn't my usual style, but for some reason, I can never pass-up MarilynMonore's awesome designs and styling. I don't know about you, but I am going to freak-out if I see one more female avi sporting another uber slutty 'Mrs. Claus' outfit! Everywhere I go, since the day after Thanksgiving, I see this look on tons of avis. Okay, it is the Holiday Season and a time to throw caution to the wind and enjoy ourselves. This time of year it is so easy to get caught up in blogging events, hunts and reviews. Don't get me wrong, I love doing that. However, it's always refreshing to do a 'Look Of The Day' featuring clothes that I randomly picked-out. As if I were rummaging through my own closet. 'LOTD's' usually reflect my own true style, which is pretty much the same in SL ans RL. Anyway, earlier today I found myself at **DP**YumYum checking out a hairstyle I saw blogged by Blur Mannequin that I absolutely adored! So, as usual, I never just get the item I want and tp out. More Awesome Goodness from TRUTH!

Even with the Holidays right around the corner, Truth Hawks still manages to keep he is stride and create even more awesome styles. This week he released two gorgeous creations. First, and definitely my favorite, is 'Ramona'. I just adore her long curly tendrils and side swept bangs. Plus, to top if off, she has an adorable color change headband with 21 colors to choose from. 'Ramona' comes in a plain version and a streaked version with 63 color options!

Alan Edison has always impressed me as a being a very unique designer. What makes her unique to me, is that she primarily uses sculpted prims as her base and whole design (i.e., no shirt, pant or jacket layers). The fact that Alan can sculpt her pieces with so much detail is truly amazing. The result is always stunning. So, with that said, I would like to show you two of Alan's latest releases. There is the 'CHERI' Skirt, which comes in 12 fabulous colors and 2 different size options. The colors are actually divided into  color groups of 3 that compliment each other very well.Then there is also the the 'Snood', which is basically a scarf, that comes in 4 colors.
