I have been hearing a lot about .:Naive:. lately, but it wasn't until Leah McCullough gave us some review copies that I got a chance to really get up close and personal with her designs. Thank you Leah! And let me tell you, I was in for very a nice surprise! Leah's clothes can range from very feminine and retro to extremely edgy and progressive. Nevertheless, they are made to work with with a woman's body and accentuate one's curves very nicely. Leah has a great eye for style and doesn't follow trends, she creates them.

As you can see in the above pictures, Leah's lines are simple but are not lacking detail. You can see the carefully placed pleats and seems in her textures. These small features give her clothes a huge dose of realism. Her crafty prim work is the finishing touch on all her outfits. From delicate little bows to full flowing empire waist skirts, Leah does is all and does it well. Cero Style

Osterhase Yellowjacket is the owner and creator of 'Cero Style' where you can find a large range of both casual and formal wear to suit all tastes and desires. Cero Style is quite a new store to me and I recently purchased an outfit featured in the I Love 69Ls event and was really blown away by the quality in Osterhase's pieces. Lila and I were lucky enough to receive some of Osterhase's creations to preview so off we went to play in the flower fields and well swear alot when we lost our pose stands and couldnt grab them between all these flowers, but thats enough about that lets get down to business :P
In the first picture Im wearing 'Loulou' which is a sassy little number with a highly detailed bodice, collar and sleeves, which prevents it crossing into that trashy look. Both the shorts and top have detailed texturing in all the right places giving shading and depth to the outfit. Lila is sporting the "Asia Outfit with Black Leggings', which again is an extremely sexy number without crossing that Line. Again featuring highly detailed textures and prim work this is another worthy addition to any inventory. Lila and I then slipped into the 'Peggy & Dolores' dresses which yet again like all of Osterhase's designs are made to the highest of standards with the use of delicate textures and beautiful prim additions making them a pleasure to wear. Haute Couture with HYPER CULTURE!

I have been a long time fan of HYPER CULTURE. Well I haven't been here that long...a whopping 7 months! So when I found out that Christensia Parkin had come out with a "Couture" line, I was really excited to see what fabulous creations she had made. Luckily, thanks to Christensia's generosity, I was lucky enough to receive a review copy of "Trinity". Thank you Christensia! "Trinity" truly amazed me. The first thought that came to mind was "Jean-Paul Gaultier" a la early '90s. If any of you have seen footage of Madonna's "Blonde Ambition" tour, you can clearly see what I mean. I just love the soft, lacy and very sexy body suit that is worn over the silky pants. The asymmetric shoulder pads and hard geometric belt are a strong contrast against the soft chenille-like texture of the shrug. The silky striped pants add an extra bit of sensuality to this already smoldering number. "Trinity" is one prime example of an outfit being extremely sexy with out having to show a ton of skin. Christensia's carefully designed bodysuit hugs every curve perfectly. Her added touch of "avant garde" is not overwhelming. It is adeptly balanced out with luxurious and ultra feminine textures. "Trinity" is truly a work of art and I look forward to more "Couture" from Christensia in the future.Actually, I have heard from a few sources that this may be soon. I'm crossing my fingers.
The next piece, "loose summer dress". is not from Christensia's "Couture" line. However, I couldn't help but add it to the mix. This was a "Hump Day Happiness" deal that I grabbed on Wednesday and I LOVE it! One would think I would have enough "boho-like" dresses with empire waists, but I couldn't miss out on this. I just love the icey and exotic pattern that loosely sways with each movement. It's one piece you just can't go wrong with over the summer. New yumminess from Truth Hawk this week! Once again he surprised us with 4 new hairstyles, one of which is for a guy. You many have caught a glimpse of "Eric", Truth's latest male style in the previous post, when Kierra was having identity issues again. *LOL* Anyway, enough about men! *LOL* It's all about us woman right now and Truth certainly knows what we want. The feel is "boho chic" again with "Chistina" and "Christina 2". These practically identical "dos" share the same whispy and wavy tendrils and are styled with a lightly layered cut and side-swept bangs. However, "Christina" comes with a headband and flower, which have a color/texture change option in numerous shades and variations, and "Christina 2" simply has a lovely braid wrapped around the crown. Both are fabulous choices. Then there is "Julia". Don't let the soft name fool you. Julia is very sharp and bit rough around the edges. This punky ponytail has an ultra teased front and back, giving this piece a very progressive take on the traditional. Plus it is super cute! Friday Mix Up! LOTD July 23th, 2010

Just a quickie post! I made a quick run this morning to check out the cool FLF and last minute Stumblebum deals. And let me tell you, there were a lot of them! I was very happy with this weeks offering from some of SL's brightest designers. I grabbed this ultra cute "Polly Dress" dress from Doppelganger Inc. and paired it with this adorable "flower" tote bag I found at Milk Motion, which comes with 5 wear options. I am always happy when they are offering one of their incredible totes. The hair is from Clawtooth and goes by the name "Listen Up" and come with 4 different color choices and a detachable flower clip! This, however, is a Stumblebum deal. Clawtooth also has an FLF offer, which is pretty awesome too. And last but not least, the I grabbed the newest skin release from [ATOMIC] that was first being offered as Stumblebum exclusive this week. RBCG Re-Opening Contd...

As Lila has already told you in her post (Points Down), July 22nd Marks the Re-Opening of RBCG. Owned by Kyrsten Jigsaw, RBCG is an adorable store full of fun props and fabulous fashions. Today. Friday July 23, 2010, rbcg will be re-opening it's doors! Kyrsten Jigsaw has been working hard setting everything up, so she can bring us her very unique and awesome creations....some old and some very new! I love Kyrsten's originality and sense of humor that she brings to light in so many of her pieces.You can find "kitschy" accessories like clown glasses and various "noms-noms"s all the way to amazing creations like her "If You're A Bird" dress. Krysten also has a large selection of items for the home as well.

In the first picture, I wearing Kysten's "If You're A Bird" dress in brown. The dress is simple, yet has an incredible hand drawn texture. She carefully adorns the dress with feathers, making this one delicate and interesting number. I kept thinking of the movie "The Birds" when I was looking at this dress (I have no idea why), so I grabbed Kysten's "Birdie" props that attach to you hand and ear. The bird the attaches to your ear flies around. The pictures I took, of course, look nothing like the movie "The Birds" ,or even remotely close to it, but I had a lot of fun playing with birds! *LOL* I also paired the dress with the rbcg "bohindian" bag. I have a big time bag fetish, so I couldn't resist this perfectly sculpted piece. Krysten had a lot of cute bags and totes in the store, so it was really hard to choose.

The "bohindian" bag was part of the "the indian collection", which comes complete with decor that includes a "tee pee", "makeshift fire" and "makeshift kayak". It also comes with the "indiankini" and "chief head-dress", which I am wearing, and ultra-cute accessories like the "dream catcher". So, I couldn't help but  go all out and show you some of the set-up and also this really cool bikini, whose fabric is comprised of Kysten's signature hand drawn textures. I think I had a little too much fun playing with my "have tee-pee will travel", but Kysten's pieces have that effect on you. Summer of Love with 'Line'

The Summer of Love Fair is in full swing and will be running until August 8th so still plenty of time to drop by and take a look at all the amazing goodies on offer. Line bring us some adorable and really good fun pieces that you can find at the fair. 'Yupo' which Im wearing in my first pic comes in 4 yummy colours, two of which are plain and two with the flowery pattern. I really do like it when designers give us more than one option with an outfit so Line definatley tick that box on my like list. With nice texured shadowing giving it the worn and creased look and showing just enough but not too much skin this sassy little number is perfect for those lazy summer days. Im paring all my outfits with the 'Summer Star' wedges that come in 4 devine colours perfect to match any outfit. Highly detail and coming with a very simple to use HUD giving you multiple choices for nails and skin tones these shoes really are a summer must have. In my second picture Im wearing 'Orion' that again comes in a range of vibrant colours with different layer options so mix and match is definatley not a problem with this piece. The bright colouring of all of these pieces really do make them fun to wear so I would definatley not hesitate in adding any of these pieces to my Summer Wardrobe. I had gotten my first taste of Avy Fhang's designs at .:Shush:. when I was still a "noob" (I've been around for about 7 months now) and I have been infatuated with her fun and flirty pieces ever since. So, I was especially ecstatic when she gave me the opportunity to review some of her latest work. Avy has an amazing eye for detail, which shows through in her meticulously hand drawn textures. Her carefully placed highlights and bits of shading give her designs that extra feel of realism. In the first picture, I am wearing Avy's "At the shore bikini" in pink. This fabulous 2 piece come in array of delicious eye-popping colors that go perfect with this summer's vibrant color pallet. This piece also come with the uber cute "star sunglasses" and several layering options with is always a huge plus! If you want to cover-up, Avy also included the beautiful pareo (which comes with a version that does not have sunglasses on the hip) and an overlay top. One can't resist the delicate and perfectly rendered sheer fabric that this "cover-up" is made of. Simply divine. This is a definite favorite in my book!

In the second picture, I am sporting the "beach short pink & white". These shorts are the perfect length. Short enough to be very sexy, but leaves just enough to the imagination. I also love that these shorts are white, but do not lose detail. My one issue in SL, is that white just seems to glow and the features just disappear. Avy seems to have solved this problem by adeptly shading the shorts so the slightest wrinkle stands out. And the top! I am wearing the "Relaxing top transparent long" in pink. It's diaphanous texture is so light and sensual. It comes in 8 gorgeous colors with several layering options! You will see me pair this with her 'Fluffy Skirt and "Cargos" too.

I am donning Avy's "Fluffy Skirt" in dark blue in the third picture. I am in LOVE with this flowy skirt with a bohemian edge! Many times, skirts that are a bit "fluffy" tend to be a bit too "poofy" for my taste. However, Avy as usual knows just want a women want and gives it to us. The prim work is exceptional and flows with ever subtle movement. 

In the fourth picture, I am sporting the "Splatter Cargo Pants". Kierra just blogged the "Rock On" cargos, which are similar. I can seen why she likes them so much. The denim detailing and carefully sculpted cuffs are to die for! And paint splatters she adorned them with give them that extra something special. I also am loving the "Rock On" belt with the "kitchy" key chain with an 8 ball dangling from it! It's definitely an ideal touch.

In the fifth and last picture, I am wearing Avy's "Delicious Dress Green". This dress is truly delicious too! The ruffled and varied shades of green are simply yummy! Plus, you get a choice of two top options. Green and grey. I am wearing the grey in the third picture with the "Fluffy Skirt". This is a quintessential summer dress that can be worn casual with a pair of sandals or more dressy with a pair of chic stilettos.

As I spout alot about being a 'Jeans' kinda girl I was pretty chuffed when Avy Fhang, owner of Shush sent me a stash of goodies to review. The 'Summer Top' Im wearing comes in a range of delicious colours and the perfectly designed prim bottom really gives them a classier edge. With the addition of some subtile texturing these are a perfect piece to wear with jeans or maybe some shorts for the summer. The 'Rock on Cargo Pants' I have to say are one of my favourtie pieces atm. The sculpted cuffs and highly detailed belt with key chain, along with the realistic tear look make these a pleasure to wear. The 'Comfort Jeans' are also made to the same high standard that comes with all of Shush's pieces and again are something that you will see me in ALOT. I really am a fan of jeans that fit in all the right places showing off our womanly curves and these pants fit perfectly. The 'Oversized Bf Shirt' that I have shown before in purple which Shush have at the SOL Fair again comes in a range of rich yummy colours with additional sculpted collar, sleeves, skirt and shoulder straps to prevent that flat painted on look. The 'Open Tank' comes with a selection of different options which is always a bonus in my book. Avy has a talent for using textures in all the right places to give that 'creased' look giving all her pieces depth and a more realistic feel to them. Suck at resizing like me ? then worry no more all of Shush's pieces come with resize scripts to make life easy for us. Machang Pichot has definitely become one of my "all time" favorite designers in SL.So when I got the chance to review some of her pieces, I was ecstatic and definitely flattered. Thank you Machang! The level of detail and craftsmanship that she puts into her clothes, is a step above the rest.Even though the majority of her pieces can be "labeled' as casual, there is nothing casual about them. Her attention to detail is extraordinary and her prim work is flawless.

In the fist picture, I am wearing Machang's "FlowerStraplessDress_Rose/Whitebase". This gorgeous summer dress comes with two wear options. There is a very short version, which I am wearing and a slightly longer version. You could also wear both versions at the same time, for an even more versatile look. This fun and flirty number is the perfect summer dress. It can we worn casual with a pair of sandals and a white cotton shirt over it or dressy w/ fabulous pair of heels. I chose to wear the "NoCollarLeatherJK" in black and the "FringeWesternBoots" in black with it. All three pieces are amazing works in their own right. I just love the perfectly sculpted leather jacket, which brings that extra something special to any look. And the boots! OMG! I haven't been able to take these off! The soft "suede-like" texture and delicate fringe make this boot simply divine!

In the second picture, I wearing AOHARU's " Jeans_SkinnyStraght". I think these are my new favorite jeans and I own lot own a lot jeans. *LOL* They hug the body perfectly and the waist is is cut at the perfect height. It's not super low, where you butt cheeks show, but not super high like jeans someone's mother would wear. Machang sculpts the cuffs seamlessly, which is definitely a rare find. These jeans wardrobe "must".

In the third picture, I am sporting one of my favorite pieces, "DungareeLongShirt". This reminds me of one of my man's crisp white button down shirts that I would casually thrown on with a pair of jeans or a dress. Machang recreates this look and cinches the waist with a gorgeous leather belt. Once again, Machang's multiple use of prim attachments are created in such a way that they just wear effortlessly and move as one piece. I am truly amazed at how she manages to do this. Underneath the shirt, you will see the "MarineBorderLongTank" in red. It can be worn as a very long tank or even as dress, but I chose to wear it with another one of favs.... The" LaceRuffleSkirt". I can't get over the exquisite detailing in the lace and the way it flows w/ each subtle movement.  I chose to top this look off with the ANEXX "FringeWesternBoots" again, but in camel. Simply gorgeous.

In the forth and last picture, which is definitely not least, I am donning these really yummy AOHARU "Jeans_BoyFriend". The slightly over over-sized jeans with the rolled-up cuff, is another classic look for summer. The light color also gives it an added warm weather feel. It comes with two belt options, One is a beautiful scarf and the other a leather belt. I paired this with the "FrontKnotShirt_Washed". I just adore this extremely vesrtile top, whose wear options are endless. At the risk of repeating myself, since I am a bit speechless at the moment, I have to say that Machang just proves her talent over and over again.
