Vintage Fair 2012 Is Winding Down...

Sadly, Vintage Fair 2012 is coming to close to soon. The 29th is the very last day :( So, I will be trying to show as much stuff as possible, before it ends. One of the great things about Vintage Fair, is that is showcases new and upcoming designers, as well as known and established creators. One designer, who is make a name for herself, is Blueberryxx. Her mesh is very well made and her creations are a mix of laid back, casual and sexy pieces. She is definitely one to watch! So, for this post, I decided to wear her exclusive 'Pina' dress. This super adorable strapless dress, is adorned with polka dots and can be worn in so many ways. I wanted to do something different and give it an 80s feel. So, I paired it with my favorite mesh shorts from Toki-Doki and added some tights. I am not really sure if this represents 80s style per se, but I tried. LOL. I do hope you like it.
I also decided to wear another fabulous Vintage Fair exclusive from Izzie Button. It is special 80s edition of her 'Eliza' skin. In comes on 3 make-ups that definitely represents the bright and vivid colors of that era. Clawtooth at Hair Fair 2012

Hair Fair 2012 is sadly coming to an end tomorrow. Sasy Scarborough, and her amazing team, did such an awesome job organizing and building this event. Not to mention all the funds that have been raised for 'Wigs for Kids'. I won't have a final quota until after the fair closes, but the last I heard they had raised over 2 million lindens! I am sure they are way past that mark by now! So, you have a little over 24 hrs to shop, shop, shop! And, in case you did not know, tomorrow is 'Bandana Day' at Hair Fair 2012. I encourage you go sans hair and wear one of the fabulous designer scarves (found at the SIM entrances) or just rock a bald head. 
I wanted to show you another one of my favorite Hair Fair designers, Bubbles Clawtooth of Clawtooth.I simply adore his all mesh hair creations. You have short flirty and long sexy styles to choose from. You simply must  check-out Clawtooth and all the other amazing designers before the fair ends!
I also wanted to share with you the latest skin release from Inka Mexicola of Essences. Her new skin, 'INDY', is gorgeous! The skin tone is so lovely and comes in 3 different shades. 'INDY' has one base skin with 4 hair base and brow options. You also get a pack of 10 yummy lip tattoos.
Lastly, Inex Hax of Peqe, just released a super glam and body hugging dress, called 'Cajsa'. Hmm.. I wonder who this dress is named after?  I love the retro 'Breafast at Tiffany's' feel to this dress. So, let me stop rambling, so you can try on some demos now! Here are your limos:

Keeping Cool

It is another seriously HOT day in NYC, so I figured I would stay inside and be comforted by the air conditioning. So, I decide to login to SL and I am imagining that I am somewhere in upstate New York by a pond; being totally lazy. Maybe this weekend I can do this in RL. LOL! Anyway, I have the perfect look for such lazy warm days. Maya Levane, of Toki-Doki, has been on such a roll lately! She has been creating the most perfect mesh Summer separates. And, for Stumblebum this week, you can grab her exclusive mesh 'Mari Top'. I decided to pair this gorgeous top with Maya's mesh 'Cocoro' shorts, which come in every color imaginable!
Siddean Munro,of Slink, just answered my prayers this week and finally released a pair of mesh 'Aussi Thongs'! I have been waiting to see who would release the first pair of mesh flip-flops and Siddean did an just this! What I love most about these 'thongs', is they are created to go with her mesh feet. Yes, you do have to buy the mesh feet separate, but they are DEFINITELY worth it. I have not taken them off all Summer! She has created other sandals and shoes to go with these feet too. The thongs come with both a rigged and non-rigged mesh option.
One Voice is still going strong and we have manged the raise 20K needed for Gala Phoenix to cover her legal fees. I can't tell you how much it warms my heart to see the SL community get together and help a fellow resident, as well as amazing creator, in need. It just goes to show that with a common goal and lots of support, anything can be accomplished. Thankfully, One Voice is on until the 22nd, so please come buy a pick-up one of the many fabulous designer exclusives. Inka Mexicola, of Essences, created this stunning 'Moana' skin for One Voice. In comes in 3 skin tones and has several tattoo options. Inka's skins are quickly becoming a huge favorite of mine.
And last, but definitely not least, Truth Hawks has been creating hair like crazy again. For this post I chose his latest release, called 'Aurora'. It is rigged mesh and comes with a HUD so you change the color of the headband, I am totally in love with this long and wavy style. So, let me stop my babbling, so you can go try on some demos! Toki-Doki Summer!

 Maya Levane, of Toki-Doki, has been releasing so many wonderful creations for Summer. So, I figured that I would devote a whole a post her and a couple of these amazing pieces. Everything Maya creates is so lovely and impossible to resist. Her talent seems endless and this is just one of the many reasons why I love her work. For this post, I decided to wear her lovely 'inurita' dress. I chose to pair it with her latest 'summer nights cardigan'. Now, I love cardigans! Especially since I love to layer. And this particular cardi comes is so many stunning pastels and neutrals colors. It is mesh too!  I think this will definitely be my new 'goto' cardigan. Now the 'inurita' dress is not mesh, but does it have to be? I love that Maya can create amazing mesh and non-mesh clothing and also have an eye for knowing just what medium a certain item will look best in. So, let me stop rambling...
