Fear of Falling

I am really tired today, so I will try to make this post as short as possible. Although that rarely happens. I am trying really hard to catch-up, or at least try to regain my place in the blogosphere. If you follow my blog my at all, it is apparent my posts dropped dramatically. Unfortunately, I have been  suffering from a illness that took a bit of a turn for the worst. Obviously, RL comes first and SL is just an afterthought. But, as blogger who has had wonderful designers that put their faith in me, I can't help but feel responsibility to them. Anyway, I don't want to get to deep into this topic. I just want to talk about clothes!

I have been posting a ton of FaMESHed exclusives lately, because it is the 1 year anniversary! One of my favorite creations that you will find at this event, is the 'Karen' dress and scarf from Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice. The 'Karen Dress' is simply to die for! I love this delicate Spring dress, which is cinched with a bold leather belt. The contrast of textures really make this mesh dress stand out. There is also the 'Karen Scarf' that can be worn with the dress or anything else in your wardrobe. It is the perfect Spring accessory. The dress and scarf comes in a ton of lovely colors and patterns. Be sure to try on a demo ASAP!

Jin Elfan of Belgravia/Leverocci, just released these stunning new 'Paradise Sandals'. They are meant to be worn with the Slink mesh med height feet, which I love. It also gave me an excuse to flaunt all the new avatar enhancement appliers that were created for these mesh appendages. Unfortunately, the Belgravia/Leverocci mainstore is close for right now. But you can purchase the sandals, or any of Jin's other amazing items, on Marketplace. Just so you know, the Slink feet are sold separately and at the Slink mainstore.

I chose to pair the 'Karen' dress with Harry Hyx's (ISON) new mesh 'Bubble Bomber'. I adore the rich leather texture of this brilliant new jacket. This is all around item will bring you all the way into Fall. Not to mention, it layers very well with most mesh items. This is yet another item you must demo right away!

aida Ewing of -Glam Affair-, released more of the 'Margot' skin line as a May Collabor88 exclusive! She is available in two skin tones - India and Europa. She also comes in 5 gorgeous make-ups and a 'clean' option too! aida offers several new brow colors as well - blonde, red, dark brown, light brown and black. May Madness

I can't believe it is the middle of May already! It is getting warm in NY, so I have been busy wardrobe shopping in RL too. My look for this post may seem a bit too warm for this time of year, but I could not resist pairing this fabulous mesh 'Shirt with Sweater' from Marry Lemur (of Overhigh) with these gorgeous mesh 'My First Jeans' from Morphine Janick (of [monso]). If I could translate my favorite pair of 'skinny jeans' into SL, they would be these. They come in bunch of lovely tones and are FaMESHed exclusive. The 'Shirt with Sweater' is too cute for words and although it is not an event exclusive (like most of the items in this post), it is a new release. It comes in a bunch of yummy colors as well.

 There are so many great shoe releases this month, so I had a seriously hard time deciding what shoes to wear with this outfit. I chose Harry Hyx's (of ISON) super chic 'billie patent heels'. I adore the sleek and strappy goodness of these beautiful mesh heels. As always, Harry renders his shoes to perfection. These heels are a Collabor88 exclusive, so you definitely want to run over and grab a pair in each color!

Tricky Boucher (of -Belleza-) just released a special edition of my beloved 'Ava' skin for the 'The 100 Block' event! She comes in a soft summery make-up and is available in all skin tones. I definitely suggest grabbing a demo and checking out this virtual 'Block Party'. Also be sure to run over to-Belleza- and buy their new 'avatar enhancement' appliers for your Slink hands and feet. If you are like me and hate matching skin tones, these are an inventory staple! Oh! Don't forget to look for the necklace and bracelet I am wearing from MiWardrobe, called 'Crosses in my soul'. It will be at 'The 100 Block'  event as well!

One of new favorite hair styles right now, is the one I am wearing in this post. It is from Bubbles Clawtooth (of Clawtooth) and called, 'Lips Like Sugar'. It is also a May Collabor88 exclusive. So please try on some demos!

I know this post is getting long now and I should have broke it up into two posts! But, I guess it is too late. LOL. Kaz Nayer of PILOT, created this awesome 'Garden Shed' for May's Collabor88. I love all the amazing little details, like the rain barrel and hose. It is just what I needed to complete my SL home for this Summer. 

I added some cute decorative details from Winter Thorn of {what next}, which are all fairly new releases. Like this brilliant 'Boardwalk Bicycle Rezzer'. The rezzer comes with different LI options to fit your land's needs. It also comes with a rezzed male and female bicycle prop. The male bicycle is shown in this post. I absolutely can't get enough of Winter's items. She not only makes great homes and decor, but great 'movable props' (ie, bikes, kites, balloons, etc...). Her uber adorable 'Cornwall Daisies Planters' and 'Finsbury High Stool'. are shown in these pics too. Do yourself a favor and TP over to {what next} and check out her amazing creations.

I was not sure what to put inside this shed, so it may not make not sense. However, I have been dying to blog these items from Isla Gealach of Cheeky Pea. It is called the 'Hutton Set'. It is made up of beer bottle lanterns, recycled tables and keg stools. I think this is one of the most ingenious sets I have seen to date. The stools come in a ton of colors and patterns. Choose your favorite country or shade! The table and lanterns come in different wood tones. It is Men's Dept exclusive, so make sure you hurry-up and get it!

This post should have been up sooner, but I was not satisfied with my pics. I actually went back and made a totally new portrait pic, which I still don't like. It seems like my images are getting worse, as opposed to better. I know my current health situation is not helping, especially with my lack of posts.
Anyway, Jin Elfan of Leverocci/Belgravia, just created some brilliant new items! For this post, I chose to wear one of her FaMESHed exclusives, which is the seriously gorgeous 'Paneled Patent Dress'. It's My Nature

Harry Hyx of ISON, just released a gorgeous new mini collection of Spring/Summer mesh separates. It it made up of smart button down collared shirts that are tucked-in; sleek pencil skirts with a sexy side slit; chic bomber vests and jackets; over-sized leather boho bags; and even a beautiful dagger necklace. Harry's mesh is always perfectly rendered with the amazing textures. I am always in awe of  he places his wrinkles too.I know this may sound like an odd thing to be amazed by, but proper placement of such details gives the content much more realism.

For this post, I chose to wear Harry's 'Tucked-In Shirt' in a light neutral tone. The shirt comes with a HUD that gives 3 tone variations for each color you choose to wear. There is dark, medium and light tone. I simply adore all these options, since it makes a styling a breeze. I paired the shirt with his rich leather 'Bomber Vest' in taupe and added a pair of the lovely 'Tulip Shorts' from {mon tissu}.



To accessorize my look, I decided to keep things simple. I added ISON's new 'Dagger Necklace', which comes in 3 different metals and 3 different lengths. I also decided to wear his wonderful new 'Boho Bag'. I am a huge fan of well made over-sized totes in RL and SL, so this bag is just perfect! I had this uber cute 'Owl Bracelet' from erratic, which I kept forgetting to wear and finally remembered. LOL. I can't emphasize enough just how much I love the clean lines and modern (but still very feminine) look too all of Harry Hyx's designs. You simply must TP over to ISON, so you can check-out Harry's new collection and try on some demos!
IKON (aka Ikon Innovia) just released a new line of stunning eyes, called 'Vanity Eyes'. If you know me, then you know that I love all of IKON's eyes. I am not usually loyal to just one brand for anything, but IKON pretty much has me hooked on his eyes. The 'Vanity Eyes' come in a ton of brilliant colors. However, if you normally wear IKON eyes, you may want to go a size up with the 'Vanity Eyes'. The pupils and iris are a bit smaller than in his previous versions. So, this is just something you may want to keep in mind. Please do your yourself a favor and try on some demos!
Oh! I almost forgot! Thora Charron of LeLutka, just released new hair styles. I am wearing her new 'Scarlet' style for this post. The short angular cut is just perfect for the warmer weather! So, with that said, here are your LMs:

Backyard Boho

Uff! Is it just me or is SL being a major pain in the butt this weekend? I heard it may be due to SL rolling out their server side baking. Unfortunately, I will not be able to experience this nifty new feature until the Firestorm or LL viewer makes it possible for me to shoot very large custom sized images. If you are photographer, who has upgraded to the latest Firestorm, I am sure you noticed the 'black rectangle' glitch with images above 4000 pixels. So, suffice it to say, I had to downgrade to my last Firestorm install. Small images with low quality is not an option. And I hate to say this, but what is the point of having all these amazing new photo tools, when you can't take decent picture? Regardless, I am excited about all the new advances, but I do hope they fix this issue soon.
My health still is on the mend, so I am also moving very slow. There are all these great releases and amazing things I want to post, but I am just not up to speed to show them yet. Please bear with me (Or is it "bare"? I always forget :/)

If you read my last post, I went on about Kavar Cleanslate's (of Exile) amazing new hair releases that are HUD driven with 8 streaking options. I figured this new stunning long and curly style, called "You'e Got The Love", added a bit of boho romance to my look. You really need to go over to Exile and try on ALL of Kavar's new styles and check-out the new HUD's cool features as well. Here all new colors and HUD options:

If you notice in the background, I have picnic table, cooler, barbecue grill, lanterns and even some pennants! This is all part of 'Cassie's Backyard Barbecue' from uber creative Isla Galeach of Cheeky Pea! It is a FaMESHed exclusive too! The picnic table seats 4 avatars and has 9 animations! Not to mention, the table is covered with tons of food and condiments. Despite all the amazing details, Isla manages to keep the LI is fairly small. Plus, the food items are not linked, so you can take away or add, depending on your prim availability. I need to invite some friends over for the Barbecue, so I can show you all the amazing options! There is also an awesome blow-up swimming pool with 25 animations, which I have to show you! So, please stay tuned...

I am so sick of feeling crappy and am hoping for a speedy recovery. I figured I would start with a relatively easy post that just contained one image. However, nothing is ever fast or easy with me. LOL!, I tend to unnecessarily fuss over stupid things. I had this fabulous mesh 'Giant Dish Hat' that was created by Amberly Boccaccio of -Glam Affair-. In comes in a ton of stunning colors and is available at the L'Accessories event.
Speaking of -Glam Affair- goodness, I am wearing the beautiful new Margot skin, which was created by aida Ewing. It is a Collabor88 exclusive and comes in a choice 6 gorgeous make-ups, a ton of brow colors and also a 'clean' make-up option (which I am wearing). All the make-ups come in the America tone. It is not too dark and not too pale, so it should be a perfect skin tone for most. I really hope aida decides to create a whole line of this lovely skin. I was hoping to get this post up last night, before the Cosmetics Fair was over, but I failed :(. I chose to wear one of aida's amazing Margot full make-up tattoo's from this event for this post. However, you never know, she may decide to sell them in the -Glam Affair-  mainstore.
FINALLY! After much waiting, Kavar Cleanslate of Exile, just released a bunch of new hairstyles! This was a LONG awaited release and now we know why it took so long! It seems that Kavar was working on a new HUD system for his hair! There is a HUD for each color set (ie, dark blondes) and for each hair color (ie, Hollywood), there are 8 streaking options. You simply must try on a demo and see all the fabulous looks that you can create. I am wearing the gorgeous 'Desperately Wanting' hairstyle in the below image. However, due to the pose and camera angle, I was not able to show it off in a nice way. I ended up altering it with a ton of brushes in Photoshop, in order to give it a finished look. Especially since my glitchy avi was obstructing it's lovely flow. I will have to wear it in another image to show you just how awesome it is. In the meantime, you probably should just go try on demo and check-out all the great new releases!
Oh! I hope you can see the beautiful 'Perky Bowkerchief' from Aranel Ah of *BOOM*. It comes in every yummy color imaginable. There are 2 short styles, 2 long styles and 3 attachments points. It is indeed the perfect accessory to dress-up any outfit or no outfit at all, like below.

A Day In The Garden

Wow! I've sooooo much stuff to talk about and I don't know where to start first! I guess I will start with this super cute and chic mesh 'flared skirt and floral top'. What makes this set even more special, is because it is a collaboration between two amazing designers, NyuNyu Kimono and Crystalny Resident. It is an event exclusive for Bees Through The Seasons, so you really do not want to miss out on this gorgeous set!
Now, I have been looking for the perfect excuse to wear this fabulous hair and hat style, called "Sabine", which was created by the uber talented Tabata Jewell of Vanity Hair  This style has such a elegant and retro feel, so I really wanted to wear the perfect outfit with it. The hat is texture-change, which definitely helps. Well, my outfit may not be that vintage, but 'Sabine' definitely added some extra glamour and class to my look. I really don't think that I mention enough just how amazing Tabata's hair styles are. Her beautifully crafted hairs cater to so many different styles. From looks that are couture, rebellious, retro or just plain glamorous, Vanity Hair is one place you absolutely must take the time to check out!
Speaking of vintage and retro and style, Winter Thorn of {what next}, designed this incredible 'Garden Cafe Caravan' for The Garden event! I cant think of anything it does not do! Not only does it have this amazing 50's look to it that is all mesh, but it has a tons of animations, cook wear, tasty bits to nibble on and refreshing drinks too. The caravan is also texture-change! If you are looking for anything to cheer-up your home or just a cute gossip nook, this is the perfect center piece.
Izzie Button just recently came out with a gorgeous new skin called Holly. The skin is beautifully rendered with the cutest lips. And, as always, Izzie always gives you tons of options! Eye tattoos, lip tattoos  freckles and cleavage enhancers. Now, you can even purchase an applier HUD for your Slink mesh hands and feet from Izzie. She even sells additional mani and pedis for it too! The Slink avatar enhancement upgrade for their mesh hands and feet, has got to be one of favorite inventions of the year! No more fussing with trying to match skin tones! If you already own Slink mesh hands and feet, just go to the Slink re-delivery terminal and get your free upgrade. Now, if only all of my favorite skin makers created appliers for Slink hands and feet, then I will be in heaven....
