Rain and Shine

Spring is just around the corner, although it feels like Spring already in NY. And, since the weather can be a bit rain ridden this time of year, trench coats are a wardrobe must! machang Pichot, of Aoharu,  has created a gorgeous line of 'Spring Trench Coats', which are also made of mesh. machang's texturing is amazing and perfect. Applonia Criss of CHANTKARE has finally gone full mesh ahead. So, I guess it is safe to say, mesh is here to stay. I am slowly warming up to whole mesh thing, but I do hope that not everything turns to mesh. In my opinion, there are just certain textures that do not work well with mesh. Anyway, Applonia knows how to texture her mesh and came out with the perfect 'SPRING TRIBAL DRESS', which comes in 2 amazing patterns. I LOVE Applonia's eye for color and her use of patterns. Out of Control

I am a bit shaky at the moment. These last few weeks have been BADDDDDD!!! And if that is not enough, I just got some more awful news. I feel sick and what to cry, but I just can't move. And, when I should be convalescing, I am still determined to post pics which should have been blogged yesterday. They were ready yesterday, but I guess life was getting in the way again. So, let me stop my whining and talk about my 'Look'. which is mostly comprised of very recent releases It all started with this amazing hair from Sebastien Aries of [Shag]. This hair is just too incredible words! Sebastien really outdid himself with this style (aka Pussy Galore). Normally, you see me in light browns and dark blonde tones, but this red was just screaming "WEAR ME"! Now, unfortunately, this was a Project Themeory exclusive, but I am sure you can buy the regular colors and packs in the stores. And, if you can't yet, I am almost positive you will be. I mean, it would be shame to limit this hair to just one weekend.
Speaking of weekend deals, we have a brilliant new mesh design from Maylee Oh of 'The Secret Store'. The 'Shortest Blazer', which was a 'Lazy Sunday' exclusive,  is the perfect Spring staple and I am sure there are more to come. After a brief break, Maylee Oh has started creating again. I am hoping to see a beautiful 'Spring Collection' from her, so I will keep my fingers crossed for that!
I have another amazing headpiece from Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo. This unique piece is called 'Taxidermy' and can be found at EPOCH Legends. Just in case you do not already know, there are only a couple for days left until the 'Back to Black' event ends (around 4pm SLT on the 29th). So, until then, you will see a ton of posts from me. For this post, I have another stunning'~plank couture' creation, called the 'Mmle Plume - Ophelia Swan Dress'. Aeon Perian's designs are so creative and beautiful. They are such a sight to see! If you are bored of the typical gown, Aeon's creations are just what the Doctor ordered. I am also wearing a gorgeous full back tattoo from [sYs]. I am not normally into tatts, but this was just too irresistible to ignore and was the perfect adornment for a backless dress. My hair is from [Shag] but you will be seeing more of that in my next post. I mean you can't really see here, but trust me, Sebastien Aries has not lost his touch for elegant and sexy styles. I'm Trying To Catch-up...

I just wanted to apologize yet again for how behind I am. I am recovering from being pretty ill, plus I have had a lot of crazy RL stuff going on over the last few weeks. So, suffice to say, I had to put my blogging on the back burner and take care of things...not to mention myself. I will be working as hard as I can to catch-up. However, I also need to take care of my health, so I may not be able to crank out 2 posts a day. I may not be able to post everyday, but I will do my best. I am soooooo thankful to all the designers who have stood behind me. It really means a lot to me and I am so grateful for your understanding. I am also not angry at those who dropped me. I am sad, but I understand that every designer has different needs. I love you all regardless.
Anyway, in more exciting news, the fabulous Mimikri Kit went mesh! And let me just say, you would never know this was her first attempt. Her beautiful new 'Jada' suede pants and tanks are simply stunning! Mimi really is on par with her textures, which for me  is a huge issue with mesh. If a designer's texturing is poor, chances are their mesh creations look like bad polyester pants. Thankfully, Mimi's eye for detail helped her turn out these new mesh separates in style!
And, speaking of new mesh masters, I am wearing Truth Hawks other latest release (aka 'Barbabra'). Well, it was from last week, but I am still behind. So let's just pretend it is this week. Anyway, 'Barbara' is gorgeous with jaw dropping texture. She even comes with an additional prim attachment for more realistic movement. I think this is truly a brilliant idea, since movement is what is still missing from many mesh hairstyles. I also can not wait until mesh is re-sizable, because one size does not fit all (especially with mesh hair). Many of you may find you have to reshape your head, which I did quickly and poorly in the following pics. I was running behind, so I didn't have time to fuss with it :( For those of you who may not want to change their shape (trust me, Truth's hair is worth changing your shape for), please make sure you TRY A DEMO! There are still some kinks to worked-out with mesh, so make sure it fits before buying. Fortunately, SL technology moves fast, so mesh should be wearing better than ever in a few months. What a MESH!?

More fabulous mesh creations from my favorite designers. I still am having my own personal issues with mesh. *LOL* I wish I could say I LOVE it, but I can not. Now, don't get me wrong, the textures and details are gorgeous. However, it is very hard layer, you can not mod it and usually it is hard to mix with different designers. Luckily, I had no trouble mixing GizzA with Baiastice! Especially since they released such brilliant creations. Sissy and Giz really made mesh work for them and then some! I can not wait until the there is working mesh deformer script! Anyway, enough of my nay-saying and on with the' Look of the Day'.
