Cabin Fever

I apologize if this post is late. I have been away dealing with some RL stuff again and I really miss having time for my blog. Anyway, for the last round of The Garden, Isla Gealach of Cheeky Pea created this amazing "Yukon Kitchen" set. I adore the retro feel to this charming cabin kitchen. The Kitchen is composed of 5 animated pieces (the kitchen, island and stools) that come with PG or Adult animations.It also comes with some super charming pumpkin and squash shaped tea light holders. I also added some other items from {what next} and [CIRCA] to mix. The cabin is from the talented Corey Edo of Trompe Loeil.

The Home Show Featuring Pixel Mode

Tya Fallingbridge is so talented! From shoes to home decor, she creates it all! She also makes such items, which are perfect mesh renderings, with an extraordinary eye for detail and texture. One such creation, is her Home Show exclusive, 'The Lake House'.

 This cozy little home is simple yet luxurious. The house is semi-furnished too! It comes with a yummy over-sized white linen bed, which has tons of amazing animations (you can choose from Adult or PG versions of the house) as well as props.

It also has large walk-in shower with a stone floor and more animations (single and couple). Oh! And there is also a stunning ceiling fan over the bed.

Now, if you like lots of light, this is definitely the perfect home for you, since it is surrounded by floor to ceiling windows and sky lights.

{ what next) for RFL Home & Garden Expo!

I know this set looks familiar if you read my previous post, 'Poppies'. As promised, I created a post to focus on the set, which is part of an incredible event and cause - The 6th Annual SL Home and Garden Expo! Not all items in the post are part of the event, just the Garden Cafe Tables from Winter Thorn and FrankLee Anatra of {what next}. However, I suggest checking out all the other beautiful elements as well.

The The 'Garden Cafe Table & Chairs' are exquisitely rendered and definitely Summer home must have! There are 7 sets of Garden Cafe Tables to choose from at the Expo. The blue and green versions are 100% donation items that go to Relay For Life!

Alice In The Garden

The Garden, which is another awesome event from The Liaison Collaborative, is officially here! And if you are a 'Home Decor' addict like myself, or just simply want to update your home, this is one event you do NOT want miss! One of my favorite sets that you can find at The Garden, is this amazing mesh 'Alice Garden Set' from Isla Gealach of Cheeky Pea. Her charming shabby chic style is always beautifully rendered. The set is made up of an unbelievably well detailed hammock, which comes with a TON of poses and props via script. There is also a beautiful pergola, which is adorned with string lights (unfortunately, you can not see it in these pics :/) To add some added lounge-y comfort, there are texture change pillows that you can copy and place to your liking. And, if that is not enough, there are also a bunch of garden games included. There is a croquet set, lawn darts and even horse shoes! So, please do yourself a favor and check out this set at The Garden. Plus, you will see many other fabulous creations there as well.
For such a relaxing day, I chose this yummy crocheted 'Flirtini Dress' from Kallisto Destiny of DRIFT. I have been dying to post this fabulous dress for some time now. It the perfect wardrobe staple to bring you right into summer. The texture of this rigged mesh dress is so well done. Because of this dress's crocheted texture, there are some areas where skin pokes through. So, in order to give this dress a very realistic look, Kalli created it to go with several skin tones! The dress also comes with a texture change HUD, so you have many color options to choose from as well. If you love chic, casual and sexy clothes, DRIFT has it all! There are so many events going on right now, so it can be hard to keep track of all them. One of these events, which I am sure that you do NOT want to miss, is the Cosmetics Fair! aida Ewing of -Glam Affair-, just released a bunch of full makeup tattoos, for her latest Margot skin! You can find the actual -Glam Affair- Margot skin in 6 lovely make-ups, as well as a bare skin, at this cycle of Collabor88. Oh! I almost forgot! M4ril1n Magic of  ~Tableau Vivant~, just released a line of STUNNING new eyes! They are called 'Galaxy Eyes' and come in several enchanting colors. They also come with 2 wear options - system layer and a mesh attachments. Of course they look outstanding with the mesh attachments mixed with  their necessary system layer. However, if you wish to forgo the mesh, and wear just the system layer, they look just as great! Just a side note, I stupidly just realized I forgot to hit publish on this post. I am so sorry for this.
Anyway, I have been dreaming of Spring. I am even sick of winter in SL! Thankfully the seasons can be change anytime you want in SL. Especially with all the great new creations from various home decor designers. Winter Thorn who is definitely one of my favorite home decor designers, of {what next}, just recently released these great 'Natural Fabric Lanterns'. they come in 4 different designs and be hung from the ceiling or carefully place on the floor. These are the perferct way to brighten up the indoor or outdoor of any SL home.{what next} also has these fabulous 'Cornwall Daisies Planters' that come in bunch of bright stripped pots. Nothing spells Spring like Daisies do! For te next couple of weeks, I will be transforming my SIM to Spring, so stay tuned for pics. Here is your LM:

Home For The Holidays

I have not done a 'SL Home' post in a long time. But, since I have been having so much fun decorating for the Holidays (with my SL partner in crime, LouLou Teichmann) and thinking of expanding my blog with more 'home decor' posts, I figured this was great opportunity to start. Mariah Urriah, of kudzu homes, has a bunch of charming and highly detailed classic prefab builds to offer. She has a nice range of huge family homes all the way down to cozy cottages for couples. They are all built to scale and seriously beautiful. Just so you know, most of her homes are partial mesh or full mesh builds, so you will need mesh enabled viewer to see them correctly. For this post, I chose to showcase the 'Savanah Family Home'. This gorgeous and traditional country home, comes with three bedrooms, one bathroom and even a sunroom! This build comes to a total of 216 prims, which is very nice for all the amazing details it has to offer. The windows and doors are mesh and the rest of the home is a standard sculpted prim build. And, let me just say, I LOVE molding on the doors and windows. It is accents like this, that really make a great home. Mariah's textures are absolutely stunning too. I also noticed that her homes are truly to built scale. I have found in many SL homes, you need to be giant to live in them. The doors themselves are three times my size! I found with this home, everything has a very realistic size and feel to it. Needless to say, I am very impressed with Mariah's talent. I am a bit brain dead at the moment and do not want to keep repeating myself, so please check-out the picures. Do keep in mind that all the winter, bedroom and garden decor are NOT included with home. Amazing New Creations for Fall at ::COOL BEANS::

::COOL BEANS:: has some amazing new stuff for Autumn.and some of these pieces were a but surprising. Now, I have always known Anyalia Pearl to make amazing clothes, but she also started making some really great furniture as well. So I have a fabulous new 'Sweater Jacket' to show you and a really cute new 'Patio Swing'.
As always, Anyalia renders her designs by hand and executes them perfectly. Her 'Sweater Jackets' are definitely not an exception. These warm and cozy pieces are the prefect staple for your fall wardrobe. Plus, they come in 5 delicious colors.

The swing is really adorable and can pretty much go with any decor with the color/texture change options it has on the pillows. It has 21 prims and six cool animations. A definite win in my book!

Action! Prefab Haunted House

You can have you very own haunted house this Halloween, or even all year round if you choose, becuase Action just came out with a 'Prefab Haunted House'! If you don't feel like having to decorate and go furniture shopping, there is a furnished version, which I will show you a glimpse of, for just $3995L. Or you can opt for the unfurnished version, if you would rather do you own thing, which is only $1995L. Action also sells the  bedroom set, living room set and decorations as well.
The Action team really created an amazing build for Halloween and it is definitely a sight to see. It definitely has a real 'Tim Burton' feel to it and I highly recommend checking it out in person. This is the 'Spooky House' in all it's glory. As I mentioned before, you can purchase the house fully furnished.

How typical, I am making myself at home in the living room already. By the way, this chair has quite a few pose options.

The  furnished house comes with a really cool organ that actually plays music. You can also buy this separately, since it come with living room furniture set......

Now, we slowly approach the second floor library....

Hayden and getting a feel for a library. It's actually pretty comfortable....

Now we are in the most important room of the house, the bedroom.....

You can't by a bed without testing it out first. Plus, I am exhausted from climbing all those stairs....

What kind of bedroom would this be, if it didnt come equipped with my own 'Witchcraft Set'?

All of a sudden I feel like Harry Potter, or something to that extent.....
