In a Beatiful World

The weather may always be delightful in SL, even when it appears to full of snow and freezing, but I can not say the same for NY. It snowed once again last night and it has been quite chilly. The night before, my furnace decided to break and I cannot begin to tell you just how COLD my home was! Thankfully, they were able to fix it yesterday. To be honest, I really have no place to complain about this happening. Many of my neighbors in Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island and New Jersey, did not have any heat or power for weeks! This obviously occurred when Superstorm Sandy decided to wreak havoc all over the Eastern Seaboard. Knowing what all these people had to deal with, I feel like a spoiled brat if I whine about this. It still sucked, non-the-less.
I had wanted to create this post yesterday, but my hands were too cold type or edit. LOL. FYI: It is very difficult to edit via touch pad in gloves. I decided to create a not-so-new post. This last year had been very crazy for me and I had not been able to blog many of the creations I planned on posting. So, I am hoping to catch-up on a lot of posts, since my computer is running super fast again and my major viewer issues have been fixed. Yay! So, please take a look at the images and a credits.

Under The Tuscan Sun

My mind is a bit blank at the moment. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that tomorrow is a Holiday here and it is going to be nuts! With that in mind, let me keep this post short. I am wearing the uber fabulous new 'Suede VCoat', which was created by the seriously talented Jin Elfan of Belgravia (Leverocci). This coat is pure love! The fur trim and sleek suede mesh textures are so divine and perfectly rendered. A definite MUST for your wardrobe! I paired the jacket with these gorgeous new mesh 'Tilda Suede Leggings' from MichaMi. Milla Michinaga has been on roll lately! She has been making the most beautiful mesh creations, which I still have yet to show you. So, please stay tuned for that. DjAngel Fallen of Miss C, has been creating new hair again! It is one of the few brands that has not gone mesh yet, which is nice for change. I am wearing the new 'Bridget' style that has nice windswept look to it.
OMG! I almost forgot! Caelan Hancroft just debuted her new line of stunning mesh jewelry! I am truly in awe of the beautiful details she manages to show off in all her designs. And, to make her jewelry even more special, each carefully crafted piece comes with a texture-change script! This way, you have a multitude of metal options to match whatever you are wearing. For this post, I chose 'Starfish' choker and earrings. Is there anything better than finding the perfect 'little black dress'? Well, I have found one and it comes in a few other amazing colors too. Staying Cool in MichaMi

The extremely intense heat is still plaguing NYC! Blah! Thankfully, since I am indoors in the a/c, I can post about some cool summer looks. Now, I know this fabulous 'print dress', from awesome designer Milla Michinaga of MichaMi, is not a recent release. However, this piece is definitely a classic that I feel definitely deserves another showing. I love the simple A-line shape and paisley-like print. Can't Find My Way Home...

When I had first attempted to do this write up, I wasn't in the best mood. So, I actually just erased everything that I had written about me, not the clothes mind you. The clothes always cheer me up. But, I was just feeling hormonal, overwhelmed and frustrated. This blog was supposed to be up yesterday, but SL was acting lovely as usual and I kept losing over half of my inventory every time I crashed, which was a lot yesterday. I never crash like that. So, I basically had to clear my cache and repopulate my inventory 3 times!!!. So, suffice to say, I wasn't able to finish styling my outfits and start taking pics until around 4am this morning. Each time taking approximately 3-4 hrs for my inventory to fully load, which also never happens. It usually takes 45 mins... I know what you are thinking, but I have an abnormally large inventory. And, yes, I do know I need help and some 12 step program for SL inventory hoarders. So, it is 8pm now ( I began writing this at 11am) and I am just finishing up this post. I just spent the last 9 hrs to venting to a friend. I think she is also going to need help now, but for PSD. I can be a pain in butt and a bit exhausting to around. Why am I writing this? I really don't know, but I this is my blog. You can decide to skip to the next part or make fun of my neurotic rants. I do my best to limit these, but this month has been unusually difficult for me.
So, enough ranting, and on to the the gorgeous goods. I was thrilled to be able to review and style these 'Vee: Dresses' from Milla Michinaga of MichaMi. I love her fabulous sense of style and how it translates into SL textures and prims. The lines are clean and simple. The textures are rich with color and lovely prints. Milla's creations have a very classic feel that also shows off the female form so eloquently. Her pieces remind me a bit of Diane Von Furstenberg mixed with Stella McCartney.
