Feels Like Fall

The cooler weather has now hit New York. So, I decided to finally make a post more geared towards Autumn. I know, it is time. I love the warm weather and am trying to hang-on to it as a long as I can. However, I am really excited by all the Fall fashion. For this look, I chose the 'MIDNIGHT GRAPHIC KNIT DRESS' from Applonia Criss of CHANTKARE . I simply adore this sleek long knit dress with a deep "V" neckline. It is sexy and fabulous, but still keeps you warm. I added this gorgeous 'Fur Cosack', which was just recently released from Jin Elfan of Belgravia. If you have not already heard, Belgravia is the new luxury line from Leverocci. You simply must see her line of high end pieces. Pure indulgence! Speaking of Leverocci, Jin also realesed a new skin line, call 'Cara', which is so so stunning! It comes in 5 skin tones and a ton of 'add-ons' for each skin. You get several eye make-ups, brow options, lipsticks, cheek enhancers, breast dehancers, breast enhancers and freckles. I know I am forgetting something, becuase Jin thought of everything! I particulary like that she included breast dehancers, becuase I usually find the base breasts on many skins to be too big. I may be odd, but I prefer a smaller boobs in SL. LOL! So, I am overjoyed when a skin designer gives me that alternative. Oh! I am wearing the skin for this post too! I really love how unique Jin's skins are. They really look unlike no other skin I have seen in SL. They are very soft and striking at the same time. Anyway, let me stop blabbling and I hope you like what you see!

From The East...

I absolutely adore this month's Collabor88 theme, which is 'Baroque'. I love the rich colors and textures and all the beautiful creations that are based on this theme. One of my favorite pieces, is from one of my favorite designers and friends, Applonia Criss of CHANTKARE . If you read my blog at all, then you know how much I appreciate Applonia's fabulous use of patterns of textures. So, this theme was perfect for her. She created a beautiful 'BAROQUE TUNIC DRESS', which come in a gorogeous array of colors. I really love the simple lines mixed with such an intricate pattern. It is a Fall wardrobe MUST! It can be worn and layered in so many ways. However, for this post I decided to keep things simple, so I could really show off the tunic. SALSA!

It is mid- Summer and there are so many events going on right now in SL. It is almost impossible to keep track of all of them. So, this post is made-up of a few different event exclusives that you can grab now. I am wearing Applonia Criss's fabulous 'SALSA LINEN DRESS', which is a Couturier's Docks exclusive. There are so many gorgeous creations to be found at this event, so I highly recommend you check it out! I decided put the latest skin from MONS, called 'Jasha'. 'Jasha' is definitely one of Ekilem Melodie's best skins to date. Her strong features mixed with toned down make-ups, are what I adore about her the most. I must apologize for my lack of posts, since I have been realy under-the-weather for the last couple of weeks. I am trying to get well, so I can finally catch-up. Man it's a HOT one! Like seven inches from the midday sun!

It still very hot here in NYC. All of the buildings, cars and people that surround me, just seem to make everything feel much more heated. So, if I can not be at the beach, a nicely air conditioned room will suffice. Speaking of hot.... Applonia Criss, of CHANTKARE, just recently released the most gorgeous mesh 'IKAT MAXI DRESS'! This piece is just perfect for Summer and is definitely a wardrobe MUST HAVE! There are many maxi dresses being sold by different designers right now, but I really love the pattern and colors that 'IKAT' comes in. Applonia always manages to use the most amazing prints and textures her mesh so beautifully. This is just one of the reasons why I love   CHANTKARE so much.
Since I am already talking about things "I LOVE", let me tell you about the latest skin from
Tricky Boucher of -Belleza-. I am sure you have already seen (or probably even wore) his latest skin, called 'Lily V1'. However, let me just say, "Lily is absolutely STUNNING!". I always love Tricky's skins, but 'Lily' is especially fabulous and definitely one of his best to date. It is refreshing to see a skin that is a bit more mature. When I say "mature", I do not mean "old looking". I just like that fact that I do not like a teenager when wearing it. Tricky manages to make his skins look very glamorous, while still maintaining a very natural and fresh face. For the 'Skin Addiction's Skin Showcase', Tricky released a special edition of 'Lily V1'. It comes in 10 beautiful limited edition make-ups and in 4 lovely skin tones. It also comes hairbase and cleavage options too. Like all of Tricky's skins, you can buy single make-ups or a fatpack of 'Lily V1 Special Edition'. I would go for the whole fatpack, since it will only be sold for this event. As the weather gets warmer the urge to bare more skin becomes stronger. I was in very boho-ish/exotic mood, so I decided to wear the 'La Isla' skirt and top from Indyra Originals. Indyra Seigo is known for uber chic ensembles and usually provides her customers with all the accessories for styling an outfit in her store. This is particularly great if you are in a hurry or just do not want to run all over SL looking for the pieces that match.
Anyway, I took the gorgeous batik skirt and paired it with the new *JeSyLiLO* skin, called "Bar", which is absolutely stunning. DjAngel Fallen of Miss C Hair has been creating some really amazing new hair styles lately. So, I chose this new super long and wavy style, called "Star". Summer of Love

MONS  just released a fabulous new line of mesh of clothes for Summer - appropriately called, 'Summer Love' - and I am definitely impressed. There are a ton of cute tops, sleek strapless dress, uber short minis and gorgeous print 'neck tie' dresses. Since it was the weekend (I feel asleep while editing), I figured I would do a casual 'LOTD'. I chose one of the strapless 'Jean Tops' and paired it with new denim short release from from Izzie Button. Applonia Criss of CHANTKARE has been on fire lately, so I have been working hard to catch-up with all her fabulous new releases. I really had no idea where I should start, so I figured I would go with an uber chic non-mesh dress, appropriately called 'CUL CHIC'. I just adored the bold colors and geometrical pattern of this piece It is absolutely fabulous, but I would not expect any less from Ms. Applonia. This is one creation you must check out!
Btw, I know you will have to notice the amazing boots I am wearing. They are the latest release from one of my new favorite brands (well not that new),  Leverocci. Every girl needs a gorgeous pair of 'Over The Knee' boots in her wardrobe. The 'Ava OTK Boots' from from Leverocci are a MUST! They come in a ton of gorgeous colors and in two fab textures (patent and python). They are rigged mesh and come in 6 different sizes, so they are made to fit just about anyone. Even me. I have ridiculously short avi (I actually believe everyone Else's avi is ridiculously big), and some 'OTK' boots just over power me and look silly. So, I was super psyched to find that these 'Ava OTK boots' fit to a 'T'. However, please still try a demo before buying.

Spring Trbal

Applonia Criss of CHANTKARE has finally gone full mesh ahead. So, I guess it is safe to say, mesh is here to stay. I am slowly warming up to whole mesh thing, but I do hope that not everything turns to mesh. In my opinion, there are just certain textures that do not work well with mesh. Anyway, Applonia knows how to texture her mesh and came out with the perfect 'SPRING TRIBAL DRESS', which comes in 2 amazing patterns. I LOVE Applonia's eye for color and her use of patterns. This is one creation you must check out, but PLEASE try a DEMO first!

I am really exhausted, so I will try to make this post brief. First, I am happy to say that designer extraordinaire, Bella Bombast of UZURI, is creating again! She is most well known for her beautiful and intricately detailed Afrocentric jewelry, couture and skins. I am wearing Bella's latest skin release, 'Diwani', which is stunning! It comes in 5 make-ups and a ton of wear options! You have a cleavage, hairbase and even shaved option. I also added a few of her latest pieces of jewelry to complement my look.
