Last Day for January Cycle of FaMESHed

The January cycle of FaMESHed is sadly coming to an end. As always, there are so many AMAZING original mesh creations to be found there. The fact that FaMESHed showcases all original (ie, no templates) mesh content, is one the main reasons that I really love this event. I think it is very important to focus on all of these talented designers, who have worked so hard to bring us some of best mesh creations in SL.
Hmmm, so where do I start? E! Eclectic Apparel! E! has come such a LONG way in the ranks of SL fashion. Their design team makes beautifully rendered mesh and pays a lot of attention to detail.  Each collection gets better and better with every release. In the following pictures, I am wearing their awesome 'Xanna' pants. They are perfect for any casual (but still chic) look. They also created a 'Libby' top to go with these pants. I was going to wear it for this post, but in the middle of a styling crisis, I found something I else I wanted to wear the top with. I really love mixing matching. Unfortunately, I ran out of time and was not able to take pics of it of yet. However, the 'Libby' top will be available in E! Mainstore, after FaMESHed ends. So, stay tuned for an upcoming post with that top. It is seriously cute!
NyuNyu Kimono of Nyu, is also another FaMESHed regular. I have come to love her sleek lines and minimalist approach to designing. Her clothes are always perfect for a more sophisticated look. Her 'Button Back Shirt', is a prime example of her gorgeous creations. I paired her dress with the super sexy new 'Spiked' pumps from FANATIK, which can also be found out at FaMESHed. They come in a TON of different colors and you can choose from silver or gold spikes (via a texture change HUD).

Collabor88 Featuring Glam Affair

Melancholy Baby

I just wanted to give everyone a heads-up on my current situation, which is making me very sad. First of all, I have been having so many issues with SL lately that it has been almost impossible to blog or log. I have wrote about this before and received some helpful advice, but unfortunately it did not work. As most of you know, I have been having issues with logging in, mesh not rezzing, layers not rezzing, inventory not loading and constant crashing. This is so frustrating and depresing. Blogging is my creative outlet in this crazy world. Not to mention, I am letting all the people I blog for down. But, what can I do? I do not know what is causing these problems. I am doing my best to find out what exactly it may be. Is it my laptop, connection, viewer or just SL? Maybe it is bit of everything.
Secondly, I just had surgery. It was nothing major, but I did develop a small post-op infection that I have had to take time off to fight. So, please bear with me while I take the time to let my body heal and to find out what is making my SL sick.
I finally got around to posting a creation that was released a couple of months ago. It is an outfit from the fabulous Mimikri Kit, called 'Renee'. This all mesh ensemble is perfect for early fall. It is made up of classic chinos, a crop knit tank and suede shrug. There is also a gorgeous hip sash to add an extra bit flare to this extraordinary oufit. All the pieces are sold as separates in a ton of gorgeous colors! This way, you have the luxury of mixing and matching in any way you want. Clawtooth at Hair Fair 2012

Hair Fair 2012 is sadly coming to an end tomorrow. Sasy Scarborough, and her amazing team, did such an awesome job organizing and building this event. Not to mention all the funds that have been raised for 'Wigs for Kids'. I won't have a final quota until after the fair closes, but the last I heard they had raised over 2 million lindens! I am sure they are way past that mark by now! So, you have a little over 24 hrs to shop, shop, shop! And, in case you did not know, tomorrow is 'Bandana Day' at Hair Fair 2012. I encourage you go sans hair and wear one of the fabulous designer scarves (found at the SIM entrances) or just rock a bald head. 
I wanted to show you another one of my favorite Hair Fair designers, Bubbles Clawtooth of Clawtooth.I simply adore his all mesh hair creations. You have short flirty and long sexy styles to choose from. You simply must  check-out Clawtooth and all the other amazing designers before the fair ends!
I also wanted to share with you the latest skin release from Inka Mexicola of Essences. Her new skin, 'INDY', is gorgeous! The skin tone is so lovely and comes in 3 different shades. 'INDY' has one base skin with 4 hair base and brow options. You also get a pack of 10 yummy lip tattoos.
Lastly, Inex Hax of Peqe, just released a super glam and body hugging dress, called 'Cajsa'. Hmm.. I wonder who this dress is named after?  I love the retro 'Breafast at Tiffany's' feel to this dress. So, let me stop rambling, so you can try on some demos now! Here are your limos:

NYU!

NyuNyu Kimono is one SL's newest and brghtest SL designers. She is quickly climbing the ranks with her minimalist couture and self-made sleek mesh designs. I lovehow she mixes clean lines with well textured mesh. NyuNyu has been making her debut at many of SL's Spring events. For this post, I am featuring her donation item for the Ashraya Project, which is the gorgous mesh 'Sakura Dress' with slight degrade of pink. I am aslo showcasing her exlusieve for the Couturier's Dock', which is a pair of beautifully rendered 'Chino Pants' in the color 'milk'. However, there are only 35 pairs of these special edition chinos, so you better hurry over there, since they will be gone very soon!  Please make sure you stop my both of these amazing events and try on some demos. Sent To Destroy!

If you haven't heard by now, 'Sent to Destroy' is the latest collection from aida Ewing and M4ri1yn Magic of -Glam Affair-. In contrast to the omnipotent and menacing name, this collection is made up of beautiful mesh separates and the much awaited 'Giselle' skin line. However, when I think about it, aida and M4ri1yn's  SL mesh debut definitely made a killing! So 'Sent to Destroy' does hold true. M4ri1yn's  textures are perfectly rendered and sumptuous. These are pieces that every girl's SL wardrobe must contain. And the skin! Well, you have heard me talking non-stop about 'Giselle'. For this post, I am wearing aida's  'Culture Shock' exclusive, which is a special line of 'Giselle' skins, in the 'Sent to Destroy' skin tones and make-ups. You have grey's, dark browns, and the palest of ivory. They are all stunning and come in amazing and dramatics make-ups. You must try on demo!
