Major FAIL on my part!!! I took these pics of Aikea Rieko's fabulous exclusive for the 'La Venta Eventa' event. Unfortunately, this event is new to me. Of course I have heard of it, but I never have been involved with it or kept up-to-date with it. I should have double checked the dates. I thought this was until tonight at 11:59 SLT. The 'Ataciara' Skin Line from :[Plastik]:

Aikea Rieko just recently released an amazing new skin line, called 'Ataciara', and it stunning! To say the least...  Aikea's eye for design artistic abilities are absolutely phenomenal.  She doesn't seem to miss one detail when creating the body and face. From the perfectly rendered lips to the cute little dimples right above the butt, her skin is on point. There are a lot of beautiful skins in SL, but none that contain this amount of accuracy. This luminous skin comes in 6 gorgeous 'regular' skin tones and 5 brilliant elven skin tones as well. I am usually not into elven/fantasy skins, but Aikea has definitely won me over with her elven skin tones. The colors and make-ups are dreamy and ethereal, which make them completely irresistible.  Aikea also provided 4 make-up tattoos, 3 freckle face tattoos and 3 freckle body tattoos. And that's on top of the elven ears and eyes, which are also provided for each skin set. So you are given a ton of wear options for your avi. Each skin come with a cleavage option as well. And let me tell you, Aikea creates ample breasts. I mean, even without the cleavage option they are quite full and natural looking. I love it! Btw, I am not a boob obsessed woman, who feels the need to have huge breasts. However, these are done very well and are definitely very sexy.  'Ataciara' is definitely, by far, one of Aikea's best skin lines to date. This skin is so versatile that it can be worn with the most casual of clothes or incredibly dramatic fantasy wear. Anyway, enough of my babbling, so you can see what I am talking about. Aurora and I just received MarilynMonroe Munro's latest lingerie release, which is a bra and boi short set in six yummy colors and designs. Christmas 2010 at The Plastik

I need to be honest about the fact that I have been fussing over this post for awhile now. Aikea Rieko's designs are always so amazing that I just want to pay due homage with my photos. Now it's the morning of Christmas Eve and I just finally finished my editing after much deliberation, and I can't even upload to blogspot or Flickr! So, I do apologize for my tardy post and a few more that are on their way. I really got hit this Holiday Season with a lot of RL stuff, so my workflow definitely suffered. Anyway, enough whining already....
Aikea put out one incredible collection for Christmas. She basically did a Holiday variation of every item in her store! And not just clothes, all her skins as well! I am always awe struck after trying on her latest hand drawn textures. They are truly a work of art in their own right. I literally could go on and on about how talented Aikea is and how gorgeous her designs are, but pictures do speak a thousand words. The Most Intimate Moments......

Yula Finesmith has just released some amazing new pieces of jewelry, which once again utilize SL physics to create designs that are unique to this metaverse. Not only are these gorgeous pieces of jewelry, but they are amazing works of art as well. Yula is truly is a trend-setter, who is not afraid to challenge the ordinary. The first piece I want to show you is part of Yula's 'In The Flash Collection'. It is called 'Shpitz' and looks as painful as it is beautiful. Piercing the heart and soul. A very intimate element.

Next, is a necklace that definitely redefines the word itself. You have got to love Yula's unique and progressive thinking. This is called, 'Hope - Touch the Stars'. I literally feel like the center of my own universe when wearing it.

Then, we have a jewel for the forehead, called 'Tikara'. It looks like a veil/tiara hybrid, which is absolutely stunning. I paired this design with a set of Yula's new 'Painter nails', which have rings and tiny 'color change' gem stones on the tips of each nail. I am not one for prim nails, but these are definitely an exception. I feel these are more like jewelry than just a set of long painted nails.

This piece definitely makes for a fabulous wardrobe staple, since it can be worn and layered in many different ways.
