Last Day For Love Donna Flora

This is the last day for the 'Love Donna Flora' fundraising event. Over one million lindens have been raised to help Squinternet Larnia of Donna Flora to get the treatment she needs. I think most of you know by now that she had been battling breast cancer, which has metastasized to her bones, for the last couple of years. Let's hope that with all of our positive thoughts and prayers, Squint will have what she needs to fight this deadly disease. In The Flesh

Fleshtone  has created some amazing pieces for the Fall season. From beautiful fur trimmed shrugs to slinky little dresses, the Fleshtone Team always delivers classic, sexy and very feminine creations that I simply adore. For this post, I decided to feature two designs from Gisele Mubble of Fleshtone . I chose this fabulous 'Birdie Fur Trimmed Shrug' and this uber chic 'Hyuna Leather Skirt'. Both items are mesh and come in several different sizes for the perfect fit! You really must do yourself a favor and check-out all of the fabulous clothes and accessories at Fleshtone .
I also wanted to give a quick heads-up regarding the skin I am wearing. It is the November group gift from Filthy Skins and it is stunning! If you are not already a Filthy group member, I highly suggest paying the small fee to join. Each month, Alexandra Barcelos always releases a lovely skin gift, which makes being part of this group well worth it. I also recommend taking a trip down to store just to try on some skin demos. Last Day for Hair Fair 2012!

I am so sad that  Hair Fair 2012 is coming to close today :( It is definitely one of the highlights of my SL year. Fortunately, much money was raised raised for 'Wigs for Kids' and all the creators were showing their best styles. Once again, I would like to commend Sasy Scarborough, and her amazing team! And, since it is the last day, it is officially 'Bandana Day'! So, I encourage you go sans hair and wear one of the fabulous designer bandannas (found at the SIM entrances) or just work a bald head. As far as I know over 2 million lindens have been raised for 'Wigs for Kids'. However, that was quoted awhile ago and I know it has to be much higher by now. I will announce the final results after  Hair Fair 2012 has ended.

Summer of Love

MONS  just released a fabulous new line of mesh of clothes for Summer - appropriately called, 'Summer Love' - and I am definitely impressed. There are a ton of cute tops, sleek strapless dress, uber short minis and gorgeous print 'neck tie' dresses. Since it was the weekend (I feel asleep while editing), I figured I would do a casual 'LOTD'. I chose one of the strapless 'Jean Tops' and paired it with new denim short release from from Izzie Button. Speaking of Izzie, she has also been on fire lately, releasing tons of beautifully made fashion staples. You simply must check out them all out. Alexandra Barcelos of Flithy Skins, created yet another amazing new skin, called 'Jenny', so I couldn't resist wearing it for this look. Just a quick look of the day, featuring a new mesh 'Noa' tank from [CheerNo]. Now, since Spring is finally here and this fabulous tank comes in a ton of brilliant colors, I figured I would create cool and casual look to suit the mood. I had these awesome denim capris from *Crazy* which I have been dying to blog. Then I added a gorgeous new hair release -called 'Twila' - from TRUTH, a new skin release -called 'Ayla' -  from Filthy, and some some stunning new accessories from MONS. Rain and Shine

Spring is just around the corner, although it feels like Spring already in NY. And, since the weather can be a bit rain ridden this time of year, trench coats are a wardrobe must! machang Pichot, of Aoharu,  has created a gorgeous line of 'Spring Trench Coats', which are also made of mesh. machang's texturing is amazing and perfect. Spring Trbal

Applonia Criss of CHANTKARE has finally gone full mesh ahead. So, I guess it is safe to say, mesh is here to stay. I am slowly warming up to whole mesh thing, but I do hope that not everything turns to mesh. In my opinion, there are just certain textures that do not work well with mesh. Anyway, Applonia knows how to texture her mesh and came out with the perfect 'SPRING TRIBAL DRESS', which comes in 2 amazing patterns. I LOVE Applonia's eye for color and her use of patterns. This is one creation you must check out, but PLEASE try a DEMO first!

There are so many fabulous new hair styles being released lately, which makes the hair whore in me not know which one to wear first! Back wearing Black

It seems like forever since I have done an actual post. I have spent the last few day setting up my new laptop!!!! Yay! So far so good. I can run and jump, while wearing mesh and having shadows enabled, like I were on a low setting on my previous laptop. My only disappointment is with the graphics of the mesh viewers. I had been so in love with Kirsterns Viewer that it was really difficult to find a viewer that could compare. So, I had a lot of playing around to do with settings and such on about 5 different viewers. Only to find that, unless I am photographing mesh, I am going to try and use Kirtsens as long as I possibly can. I know Rome was not built in a day, even in SL( I know... lame joke), and the mesh viewers will be amazing in a few months. SL moves fast like that. Anyway, I figured I would test my new system's skills at the stunning New York City SIM. The new  CHADO COAT DRESS, from the uber fabulous Applonia Criss, was the perfect piece to go with this seriously chic place. Applonia's designs just keep getting more amazing with each new release!
