Feeling Glam

The whole -Glam Affair- team has been VERY busy creating and releasing fabulous new designs. From fatansy gacha skins for the 'Arcade Event' to a new line of stunning couture mesh lashes and liners. Not to mention all the beautiful accessories and clothes. Becuase I have been a bit out of the swing of things, so to speak, I really have no idea where to start with post. I guess since the 'Arcade Gacha Event' is coming to an end on the 15th, I will begin my post with that.
aida Ewing created a gorgeous line of special edition 'Roza' skins for 'The Arcade Gacha Event'. They come in 10 brilliant and exotic tones, which are perfect for the upcoming Halloween events. They are also a great edition to any SL photographer's or model's wardrobe, since they make for a very dramtic look.
Speaking of dramatic looks, Amberly Boccaccio created a seriously fierce line of 'Couture Lashes and Eyeiners'. I especially love the liners, since they re-create liquid liner so well. They definitely add that extra something to any style or pic. The eyelashes are amazing too and are a great addition to any avant garde look.
I also adore this mesh 'Openside' top by M4ri1yn Magic. It is a FAIR exclsuive, but I am not sure if the September Cyle is still going on or not. It is worth checking out though. And I do know the October cycle starts on the 3rd Saturday of this month.  So, do youself a favor and check-out the events and the -Glam Affair- mainstore for these stunning creations.

Yay! I got to grab my good friend and blogger, Suriko Leimes of 'The Bunneh Files', for another post. Now let me just say, this girl is a SAINT! Danielle Astonia is the owner and creator of 'La Forgia Jewels' and wow what a talent she has in bringing some of the most amazing creations to Second Life. I am always amazed how people can create such small works of art and have the up most respect for designers of high quality jewelry as I know how much effort goes into each piece created and La Forgia designs are simply outstanding.
Lila and I were lucky enough to receive some of Danielle's creations (thank you Danielle!!) and we were both stunned by the superior quality of her work. I loved the delicate roses on the Thalia set and was taken a back by the prim work as each rose and petal is individually made. Giselle is a slightly bolder design but again with the use of stunning prim work and beautiful textures to each stone and gem make this yet another exquisite piece. The Heartbeat and Maka sets are more casual yet are still made to the highest of standard that you will find in each and every piece from La Forgia.
Each set also comes with a resize script to make fitting nice and easy and a vast aray of colour options not only with the gem colours but the metals and leathers giving them so much versatility they really are a perfect addition to anyones inventory. I have always been a big fan of LoQ Hairs, so when I received these copies I couldn't wait see the amazing hairstyles awaiting me. Thank you Gia!Well the hair was, and still is, gorgeous! Plus, the fact that they were named after various coffee drinks, made it even more delectable! Anyone who knows me, is very aware of my obsession and serious addiction to coffee. So what could be more fabulous than hair inspired by coffee?

Anyway, Gia Pawpad's latests designs have a very retro feel with a glam modern makeover.In the first picture, I am wearing "Cafe Au Lait" in ash. This very yummy sounding and looking hairstyle, has a real 60s flavor to it. The luscious wavy strands and teased top, which is secured with an adorable clip, make this a one irresistible design.

In the second picture, I am wearing "Frappe" in a dark blonde. I am constantly in search of the perfect "updo" and now I think I have finally found it!. The creamy color and and ultra high "bump", is expertly finished off with a very elegant chignon. I just love how Gia's textures are able to have a brilliant shine with out looking greasy. .And I know, you know what I mean. I am not mentioning any names. Gia has a keen eye and knows just what women want and how to design it perfectly.

In the third and last picture, I am sporting "Breve" in jet black. All these names are making my mouth water! "Breve" has a bit of an 80s feel with the side ponytail. However, Gia manages to give this a hip new look with sleek tail and chic sides-wept bangs. I just love how she completes this look with soft and subtle tendrils.

So now I will stop my ramblings. I could literally go on forever about Gia's work, since such unique and fashion forward looks are hard to find. But I will let you go discover them for yourself..... Lila and I decided to flash some flesh with these outfits but I was a good girl as always *shines halo* and went for the Back tease turtleneck that I teamed with the denim skirt from the MM board. I love the back on the top its something a little different and could easily be worn with some nice pants for a more sophiticated look. Lila chose the Stretched Tank. I think Im getting old as I felt the need to scream 'Thats a belt not a top', makes note to buy Lila a nice sweater for Xmas :P. Lila teamed her 'belt' with the zipped mini skirt to create a sassy yes classy look. The Paris boots im wearing from FM Shoes are one of my favourite pairs of shoes atm. Norman Maroon owner of FM only opened his store a few weeks ago and already handed out a fantastic gift of Hippy Chick Boots (previously blogged) as well as a few other treats for us shopaholics, to give us a taster of his wonderful designs.

This sassy little number that comes in a variety of colours with a sheer and non sheer option is perfect for showing off our womanly curves. I really liked that the sheer option still left something to the imagination and showed off the underwear nicely. You can never have enough 'little black dresses' in my opinion and these two little numbers are a worthy addition to any wardrobe. With the lovely detail on the bodice of Lilas dress and the lace texturing on mine Kinu of Sassy Designs has created two wonderful outfits that also come with a 'Saucy' option that we havent shown but Im sure you know what I mean.
