Last Day for January Cycle of FaMESHed

The January cycle of FaMESHed is sadly coming to an end. As always, there are so many AMAZING original mesh creations to be found there. The fact that FaMESHed showcases all original (ie, no templates) mesh content, is one the main reasons that I really love this event. I think it is very important to focus on all of these talented designers, who have worked so hard to bring us some of best mesh creations in SL.
Hmmm, so where do I start? E! Eclectic Apparel! E! has come such a LONG way in the ranks of SL fashion. Their design team makes beautifully rendered mesh and pays a lot of attention to detail.  Each collection gets better and better with every release. In the following pictures, I am wearing their awesome 'Xanna' pants. They are perfect for any casual (but still chic) look. They also created a 'Libby' top to go with these pants. I was going to wear it for this post, but in the middle of a styling crisis, I found something I else I wanted to wear the top with. I really love mixing matching. Unfortunately, I ran out of time and was not able to take pics of it of yet. However, the 'Libby' top will be available in E! Mainstore, after FaMESHed ends. So, stay tuned for an upcoming post with that top. It is seriously cute!
NyuNyu Kimono of Nyu, is also another FaMESHed regular. I have come to love her sleek lines and minimalist approach to designing. Her clothes are always perfect for a more sophisticated look. Her 'Button Back Shirt', is a prime example of her gorgeous creations. I paired her dress with the super sexy new 'Spiked' pumps from FANATIK, which can also be found out at FaMESHed. They come in a TON of different colors and you can choose from silver or gold spikes (via a texture change HUD).

I am so tired, so I will keep this post brief. Well, I will attempt to. Giz Seorn just recently released this fabulous short mesh 'Padded Coat'. I just adore the way it flares out. It such a perfect jacket for any casual Fall look. I also chose to wear this adorable mesh 'Allure' plaid skirt from Eclectic Wingtips of Eclectic Apparel. Next we have the 'Pacific' cardigan from designer extraordinaire, Inex Hax. I have posted this design a couple times before. The first time I posted it, was as a 'PCF ' exclusive. I, and many others, fell in love with this comfy, yet 'oh-so-chic' piece. It can be worn as a simple cover-up or a fabulous jacket for an even more fabulous dress. So, due to popular demand, Inex released this in some of the 'PCF' textures and  bunch yummy solid colors. The second time, I posted it, was right after I received it. The 'Lady T' from [Pixel Mode]

Tya Fallingbridge just recently released yet another amazing heel called, 'Lady T'. I guess you could call it the grown-up version of the beloved 'Baby T'. Instead of the shiny adorable pump, Tya brings us a more sophisticated strappy open-toed stiletto, which has sassy patent leather texture. And let me tell you, this shoe is definitely sexy! The sculpted prim foot is expertly crafted, giving a very realistic look, The HUD, is super easy to use and I managed to match my skin tone very quickly. Plus, you have ton of yummy nail polishes to choose from. Each shoe comes with a gold or silver trim wear option, so you don;t have to worry about metals clashing with your jewelry or accessories. It's also lowers the script count, since it's not color/texture change. The overall heel has a gorgeous design and is definitely one of my new favorite styles on the grid. 'Pretty Woman' from E! Eclectic Apparel

Now, I know I just showed you a fabulous trench coat from designer, Eclectic Wingtips. But, now I have something a bit more revealing to show you that she just created as well. It's a dress that was obviously inspired by the super short mini dress that Julia Roberts wore in the classic movie, 'Pretty Woman'. The New 'Pea Trench Coat' from E! Eclectic Apparel!

I love trench coats and can't seem to get enough of them in RL and SL. They are perfect transitional jacket for Fall and Spring.  They can add instant class to just about any look. Now, I have purchased quite a few trench coats, since I have been in SL and adore all of them. But this design is definitely 'one-of-kind' (at least to me). Eclectic Wingtips managed to create an incredible looking jacket with absolutely NO prims! Now, I know that's hard to believe. And,to be perfectly honest, if I had had been in a store looking at this trench and saw that it had no prims and system skirt on top of it, I would have definitely passed it up and chalked up the fabulous look on the vendor ad to just plain Photoshop magic. Now, I know you are thinking, did she just say, "system skirt"? Yup, and I think the way Eclectic used it is absolutely brilliant. System skirts have definitely been making a come back in casual wear. Eclectic uses this layer as the jacket's skirt. And it fits and looks absolutely amazing. I can't tell you how freeing it is, not having to worry about sizing and fussing with intruding prims. However, I don't feel this 'Pea Trench Coat', could look as gorgeous as it does, if it weren't for Eclectic's extraordinary hand drawn details. Her shading and highlights are on point! She is definitely a very gifted artist and I am overjoyed that she sent me these review copies. Thank you Eclectic! This gorgeous piece comes is 8 brilliant colors and I just adore them all. BTW, I will be adding a section to my blog for those of you, who may need help modifying their shape for system skirts. They tend extra curvage on the bottom, so you may want to slim down that part of your avi's shape, so you like you normally do. It definitely works well as a jacket skirt, since it adds the fullness that the prim usually does. But you may want to resize to fit a skirt. Many shape makers do include a shape just for this purpose. However, if you created your own shape (like me) or were just given a standard shape, I can give you a basic overview on how to do that. Of course, your shape must be copy/mod. Personally, I would never buy a shape that was not copy/mod. But everyone has their own personal tastes.

E! Eclectic Apparel Is Causing A Heatwave

It may be cold here in NYC, but there it's almost Summer in Australia, where designer Eclectic Wingtips  is from. Her new 'Heatwave' dress is the perfect homage to her upcoming season. You can forget about feeling cold, because this dress in HOT. I am really impressed with Eclectic's detailing on this dress. The tiny wrinkles are placed perfectly and the skirt prim is crafted extremely well. In fact, she giver you two different sizes to chose from. Skirt prims have always been a HUGE annoyance to me. So, I just love it when they fit me to a 'T'. Eclectic managed to make that happen. The straps of the dress have an amazing chain link detailing which make this piece truly unique and you have the choice of gold or silver. And did I mention that this dress comes in 11 gorgeous colors too? 'Heatwave' is the ideal dress for night out or you can even where it with a jacket for a more casual look. This is piece is definitely one of my favorite new additions to my inventory. I can't wait to see what Eclectic comes out with next! Her designs have really evolved into something amazing. Whew! October has just flew by! This was definitely a crazy month for me as well. I had to go away and be with family for the first week in October. New Designs from 'IZZIE'S' & E! Eclectic Apparel

This post was a bit overdue. Unfortunately, between SL issues and the fact that my NEW laptop's heat synch and graphic card are borked, my work flow has been slowed down quite a bit. Hopefully, I will be sent a replacement laptop soon. Anyway, I have some fabulous new designs to show you. First, we have the 'Plain Jeans' from Izzie Button, which come in 6 mouth watering colors. In the picture below, I am showing 4, which left out the 'snow' and 'dark blue' colored jeans. The jeans just wouldn't rez for me towards the end of the shoot, since my laptop became super hot. However, I can assure you that they are just as lovely as the rest. I paired the jeans with these completely adorable 'Milli Sweater' tops, created by designer Eclectic Wingtips. They come in an assortment of 8 yummy shades that are perfect for this seasons wardrobe. Anyway, enough of my complaining, so you can take a look at the goods.
