It seems that Aikea Reiko goes all out for each Holiday, creating amazing special editions of her most popular designs and skins. Well, this Valentine's Day was no different. I know this post is a bit late, but I am sure you have heard about my technical issues by now, which have slowed me down tremendously. Anyway, better late than never. Long time no blog! So recently my SL mom has been dressing up like a faun and I've fallen in absolute love with her avatar. Being her daughter I felt compelled to play a little dress up as well. So recently with all the faun things being blogged, naturally I figure I'll add my own two sense in as well. Also an excuse to take cute pictures, yay!

Thanks to my once again, addiction to Plastik, this dress just went perfectly with my overall look. The dress featured in this picture is [Plastik]-Prayer-Black. The details on this dress are absolutely incredibly and awe-inspiring. There is so much care to each string wrapped around the waist and as usual to Plastik's standards an absolutely beautiful creation as always. I also paired the dress with [Plastik]-LipstickMuse-Black gloves for a final touch. The gloves are a bargain and come with three different types of cloves! The version I'm wearing is the "Lace" version, there is also plain and strings. Once again the quality of these gloves are always to the high standards of all Plastik products. I absolutely adore them and can be paired nicely to multiple outfits to complete a perfect look.

As for my faun horns, hooves & the ears, I was introduced to a store called - V i s a v i - Not only do they have a great selection of quality faun accessories but also amazing piercings, ears, poses and many other things. The faun set I'm wearing is called- V - Shadow Faun. The piercings are - V - Solaris Pierving and the ears are - V - Epigon Ears / Chained. The detailing and textures on all of these items, especially the horns and the hooves are amazing quality and perfect if you are interested in turning faun in SL! I highly recommend this store for it's great prices and quality.

I am always delighted to receive a new skin release from [The Plastik]. Thank you, Aikea! Aikea Rieko's creativity and unique vision never ceases to amaze me. Her latest release of skin comes in two make-ups, 'Warpaint' and 'Gameface'. It has a very tribal, yet post-apocalyptic feel to it. Cutting edge to say the least. As usual, Aikea uses her incredible talents to create a luminescent skin with an ethereal glow. The face is youthful will very pouty sensual lips. The body is toned, but overly muscular , which I love. Aikea's expert shading and highlights are used to create a gorgeous definition on the stomach and legs. The cleavage is plentiful and definitely gives me some added curve appeal.  And I absolutely LOVE the two perfectly placed dimples on the lower back. Aikea definitely knows how to create skin that borders on perfection and that is completely flawless. These two skins come in 6 tones, which are: Fable, Legend, Myth, Saga, Story and Tale. So there is a shade that should suit everybody. Plus, I love adore the names. As I mentioned before, the skin comes in two make-ups, 'Warpaint' and 'Gameface' , and it comes with a bare and freckle option. The skins also come with a set elven ears for each tone and eyes too. Omg! [The Plastik] has blown us away again. Now I know this "New Release" is a bit tardy on our end, but things have been a bit crazy over at "Demented Divas HQ". When the crap hits the fan, it seems you get hit with a lot of it all at once. Luckily, these new "Ambrice Dresses" have been our silver lining on the dark cloud that has been following us. So enough whining and I'll get on with the info regarding all of this yummy goodness.

These gorgeous dresses are draped in rich and very detailed patterns. Aikea Rieko never ceases to amaze me with her beautiful hand drawn textures. She really pushes the limit's of one's imagination, since her ideas seem endless. This one dress comes in 16 awe inspiring patterns, 8 of which we are showing, that are filled with intricate paisleys, eastern influences and even a "Esher" replica! "Ambrice" also comes with 2 style options. You can opt to wear it with a corset, which is amazingly rendered with an alluringly depicted lace-up back, or without and as two piece. The back of the dress is even adorned with an adorable and very lifelike zipper! It was literally impossible to pick just one favorite pattern! They are all wearable works of art!

I am sure you have probably noticed the skin that I am wearing. By the way, this is Lila writing. *LOL* Well, the skin, also know as "Fingerprints" is a "New Release" from Aikea too. So I figured that I would use this opportunity to give you a teaser of these amazing textures. "Fingerprints" comes in 9 unique skin tones and 6 different make-ups! Each skin also comes with a set of elven ears, eyes and the "glowy" prim eye attachments". I can't get over the quality of Aikea's skin. It is flawless and luminous. She some how manages to make the face seem very soft, but very striking at the same time. Aikea's careful use of shadow and highlighting is just the perfect amount to make this one sensual and very ethereal creation. This is yet another masterpiece.

Aikea Rieko's designs just take you into a world of fantasy and myth, which is so wondrous that you never want to come back to reality. And what makes her pieces even more incredible is that they can be worn as just a regular fabulous slinky dress. Well, I wouldn't say regular, since her designs are better than that, but they can mix with just about anything in your wardrobe.
