Baby It's Cold Outside!

Winter is officially here and the world did not end! Yay! Unfortunately, it is freezing and am not too fond of the cold Winters here, but I love all the new beautiful creations made for this weather! I had a cute idea for this post, but it didn't really turn out like wanted it to. LOL! I wanted it to look like my avi just  threw on this fabulously cozy and over-sized 'wool cardigan' from *Tea Time* and these uber adorable 'Fair Isle Wool Mukluks' from *BOOM* (Arcade Exclusive), so she could run out and grab the paper. This is despite the fact the she is still only wearing her gorgeous new 'Catalina' lingerie from The Sea Hole . And let me just say, the 'Catalina' lingerie is definitely the most beautifully rendered and hand drawn underwear on the grid! In comes in ton of different colors combinations and for a very nice price, since it is a Collabor88 exclusive! I had picked-up these great 'Chilly' poses from oOo studio, which were a 45L advent hunt gift. But somehow, my avi looks more sexy than cold. LOL. I should of used an emoter HUD. Oh well. Lost In Translation

Hmmmmm.... It has been a freaking long day! So, where do I start? I really love this outfit I put together, especially since it features a new blouse from one of my favorite designers - Maylee Oh of The Secret Store. This top, which is called 'Sweet Sheer', is a FaMESHed exclusive and so lovely. Maylee has always created the most amazing textures and has made the transition into making mesh designs very nicely. This blouse is definite MUST have for your wardrobe, so please check-out a demo!
I paired the blouse with a super cute mesh skirt from a very new designer, DavidReis of LUSE. This sleek bow adorned 'LOLA' skirt is so adorable and comes in a ton of colors. Unfortunately, DavidReis does not have an 'inworld' store yet, but he does have few beautiful mesh creations on Marketplace. I would definitely take the time to peruse his items and try on some demos. I really hope he decides to open a store 'inworld' soon.
I am sure you can not help but notice the gorgeous 'Fox Glove' boots that I am wearing. They are part of the new Winter Collection from Belgravia. If you haven't heard by now, Belgravia is the new luxury line from Leverocci. The collection is full of rich leathers, soft furs and fine silks. Everything one needs to pamper their virtual self with. Autumn *Tea Time*

Tea Xofan is not only an AMAZING blogger, but an AMAZING designer too! She creates the most unique designs. Major Graphic Card Problems and End of Summer Post

I know you MUST be sick of my laptop rants, but my graphic card did a final crash. Hence the lack of posts. I did find out that there was a driver update that I did not see on the website. Even though I can now log back into SL, I am still having issues. So, please ignore the crappy graphics and please bear with me. I think my laptop days in SL are coming to end. I will have to get a desktop, becuase SL just eats laptops and all their hardware.
So, LOTS of newness from  -Glam Affair- ad ::Exile::. I also missed the posting this uber cute 'Ribbon Kini' from PIDIDDLE, which was an Attic exclsuive, on time. Stupidly, I mixed the days up with another event. So, I am praying it will be available in the store or at least on Market Place.
aida Ewing's lastest skin 'Lilith' has to be my fav to date! Her features are so delicate and beautiful. And I LOVE that she has new skins tones that we saw with Cassiopea. aida works hard to constantly improve and update her skins. This is why she is one of my most favorite skins designers.

Last Day for July Cyle of Collabor88

Sadly, the July cycle of Collabor88 is coming to an end. There are so many AMAZING creations to be found, so you MUST go check it out before it is over. On a happier note, the one year Anniversary of Collabor88 is on August 8th! I can't believe it has already been one year that Collabor88 has been around. Baiastice 'Aicha'

Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice just released some gorgeous and super sexy dresses for Summer! For this post, I am wearing her 'Aicha' dress. This stunning mesh mini-dress with a plunging neckline, is a definite must for your Summer wardrobe.
Speaking of MUSTS! Izzie Button released an seriously beautiful skin exclusive, called 'Gala', for the 'ONE VOICE' fundraiser. Izzie has come quite a long way with her skins and they just keep getting better with each new release. One of the features that I love most about her skins, is that she gives you several base skins with brow and cleavage options. Then she gives you a ton of eye and lip tattoos, so you can fully customize your look to your liking!
By the way, Truth Hawks has been making tons of fabulous hair lately. I also appreciate that Truth has not gone totally mesh yet. Each release includes both mesh and non-mesh hair. As much as I love mesh, there are just certain textures that are difficult render in this medium. 'Ashlee' is a good example this. I really adore this style, especially since Truth went back to his "roots" and brought back his "streaked" option, which I have not seen in awhile. So, not only do you have a root options with this style, but a streaked option too. I know it is a lot of work, but I hope he does more of this in the future!

ONE VOICE and MANY SUPPORTERS

Unless you have been living under a prim rock in SL, you must know about the copyright complaint and DMCA take down notice filed by Hush Darkrose (aka HUSH Skins) against Gala Phoenix (aka Curio Skins). It is fairly easy for anyone with just a bit a common sense to say, "WTF?!". Gala has been creating some of the best and most sought after skins on the grid for years. I am sure almost every SL female avi owns at least one Gala's amazing creations. So, I had found it seriously difficult to believe that a content creator of this caliber and reputable reputation, could have been guilty of such allegations. And allegations are just what they are, nothing has been proven in court yet. Unfortunately, in order for Gala to defend her name in court, it will cost quite a bit money to pay a lawyer. The fee runs a very steep 20K USD. Thankfully, many of SL's designers have come together to raise these funds for Gala, by selling exclusive creations with 50-100 percent of the proceeds going to her cause. The last time I checked, around 8K USD has been raised! By participating in this event, called 'ONE VOICE', people are not only helping Gala, but are also taking a stand. This could happen to any content creator! Once a DMCA take down is filed, a creator can no longer sell their creations n SL until a decision is made in court. For many designers in SL, the sales from their creations are their only source of  income! It is frightening how can easily one can shut down a person's store and money supply. I am confident that the community will raise what Gala needs and them some. I also give her major props for standing by her name and fighting. I wish only the best and know that they will find her innocent of these insane changes. Beating The Heat In Baiastice

It has been seriously hot for most of us, who live in the western hemisphere, so staying cool has been a number one priority. Deep in the confines of my air conditioned home, I dream of windy beaches and gorgeous couture. Sissy Pessoa's latest creation, the 'Zoroaide Mesh Maxi Dress', is a prime example of what comes to mind. This stunning mesh maxi dress comes in four beautiful multi colored prints and four equally lovely momo colored prints. And to top it off, literally speaking, Sissy designed a perfect 'Huge Brim Mesh Hat', which comes in eight color choices, to coordinate with this dress. If you have noticed by now, I LOVE hats! Last Few Hours of May Cycle of Collabor88, so HURRY!!!
