IKON's Promise Eyes and Belleza's RIA!

I am so excited! Ikon Innovia of IKON is now a FaMESHed regular! This means more stunning new mesh eyes, from my all time favorite eye creator! For this month's FaMESHed, Ikon released the new Promise Eyes, which are absolutely gorgeous. I love the window reflection in the eye and the details are so life-like. These are just a few of the brilliant colors available.They basically come in every color imaginable and only cost 150L per pair. The biggest problem is choosing a color, since they are all so lovely! Each purchase includes: 5 sizes of both regular system eyes, mesh eyes (can be worn without the mesh attachments too), and a convenient HUD for precise fitting, various options and different effects. The HUD is easy to use and allows for a perfect fit in a matter of seconds.You can easily change the overall size of the eye or just the iris and pupil, you can change the degree of shading on the white of the eyes, add glow and add brightness.

Event Madness!

So many events, so little time! It is almost impossible to keep track of all these exciting events, especially this Holiday Season. The ever popular Arcade Event is back for their December round! Dazzled!

Well, I am back! I had to take a bit of break for issues that I had to attend to in RL. So, it has been awhile since I have been posting regularly. It feels strange. LOL! I also have a lot of amazing new releases to talk about and I really do not know where to start.
I guess I will start with the most obvious - August's cycle of Collabor88! It is Collabor88's 2 year Anniversary! Yay! I can't get over the fact that I have been blogging this event for 2 years now. I am one of the fortunate bloggers, who has been a part of Collabor88's Press Team from the very beginning. I still wonder to this day, why someone would pick me to cover such a spectacular event. I was part of a team that included all of SL's best bloggers and I just couldn't see how I fit in. Regardless of how I ended up being involved with Collabor88, I feel truly honored and fortunate to be a part of it. I knew from day one that this event was going to be really special. The list of designers says it all. Not to mention Collabor88's awesome management team. Because of this perfect collaboration of creative and inspiring people, Collabor88 is more popular than ever! Each new cycle is like Christmas. I am always anxiously waiting to see all the incredible creations each designer has made. For Collabor88's 2 Year Anniversary, the theme is absolutely brilliant! It is called "Razzle Dazzle". Think of classic 1920's style (ie,' The Great Gatsby', flappers, speakeasies, art deco, etc...). The 20's is definitely one of my favorite decades for fashion and design. So suffice it say, I am ecstatic over this month's creations. I know you probably have already seen most of what I am posting, but it never hurts to show it again.

This mesh "Dazzle Gown" from Harry Hyx (of ISON) is to die for! I love the sleek lines that are accentuated with a sequined applique. From the super low "V" neckline to the sheer "cut-out" sleeves, this gown is pure heaven. This dress is also materials enabled. Unfortunately, I use the Firestorm viewer, so I can't show you what it looks like.Firestorm doesn't have this option yet. I think it is definitely time for me to download the SL viewer, so I can show-off all of the amazing effects of this new feature.

I paired this dress with these perfect "Pickford Heels" from Betty Doyle of Ingenue. They are designed to be worn with Slink's mesh bare feet (medium height) and come in nice array of yummy colors. I am always very impressed with Betty's shoes and I really adore that she creates shoes that are made for mesh feet!

This month's Collabor88 has lots of gorgeous jewelry. One of my favorite sets, is Gyorgyna Larnia's (of LaGyo) "Helen Collection"! Gyo really outdid herself, when creating these 'art deco' themed pieces. For this post, I am just wearing the her long 'Helen Necklace'. I will be posting the rest of this collection very soon. Each part of this necklace is color change via HUD. There are two color palates that you can choose from. Or you can just buy all the colors in one big HUD, which I highly recommend. All of the pieces in this collection can be fully customized like this necklace. 

The skin I am wearing is a Collabor88 exclusive from aida Ewing of -Glam Affair-. It is her stunning new 'Katya' skin. This skin is so lovely and is available in 7 different make-ups. Each make-up comes in the Jamaica or Europa skin tone too. 

My hair is yet another beautiful Collabor88 exclusive from Morphine Janick of [monso]. It is called "My Hair - Daisy" and I just love the uber chic cut of this hair. It is 'materials ready' too. My friend showed me a image of what this hair look liked with the materials option on and it is really incredible! It gives the hair so much more depth and shine. I was truly amazed. 

Speaking of Anniversary's, it is L’accessoires First Anniversary this month! All of the 19 designers, who are featured this month, really went all out for this celebration. Please keep in mind that all of the items are exclusive to this event  and are sold in limited quantities. If you like what you see, you better run and grab it! 

 L’accessoires has always been one of my favorite events in SL, especially since I have a serious accessories addiction. In the above image, I have on two L’accessoires event exclusives. I must be the slowest freaking blogger on EARTH! This is an ordinary post. In other words, it is not something that tests the limits of my capabilities.Well, except for the SL glitches. So, why did this post take me 3 days to finish? It makes no sense! Yes, I fuss with styling and trying to see what elements work and don't work. Then I try to find poses that compliment the outfit and scene without being too boring. However, unless I want to spend more time editing, I choose not to use poses that tend to be more interesting. Of course the next step is finding the right angle and making sure every prim (well mesh creation) is in its proper place. Windlight is always an important step too, since it sets the mood and highlights the image. And last but not least, the editing process... I don't know why I am telling you all this. I guess I feel inferior and frustrated, since I see other bloggers complete this whole process quickly, efficiently and much prettier than I do. LOL! So, suffice it to say, I am tired today. I'll stop yapping and talk clothes.

This month's FaMESHed is sadly coming to an end. So please hurry-up and grab anything you may have missed. Jin Elfan of Belgravia, just released these perfectly sleek 'Patent 120'heels'. They are configured to be worn with your Slink medium high mesh feet, which is another reason why I love them. The combination is perfect, especially with Slink's new 'avatar enhancement' system. The heels come in vast array of alluring colors. They also come in a spiked version too! Unfortunately, the Belgravia/Leverocci main store is not up at the moment, but you can grab them on Marketplace - the link is below. 

Speaking of Slink's new 'avatar enhancement' system, Izzie Button just released 'Sock Appliers' to go with it! They come in a lots of colors, neutrals (basics) and colors, and are applied via HUD. They are meant to be worn with Izzie's 'sheer tights'. As you can see, the look is phenomenal. I do hope Izzie releases more of these tights and socks (hint hint).

Glam Affair's long awaited 'Cleo' skin line is FINALLY here! Yay! Cleo is absolutely STUNNING! Plus, she comes with a zillion wear options! She comes in 12 beautiful make-ups and a 'clean' skin. She also comes in 6 gorgeous skin tones. Each make-up comes with a choice of 6 brow colors (black, dark brown, light brown, dark blonde, light blonde and red), which are embedded into the the skin. Now here are all the options (I think): 2 lash tattoos, a definition and skin pore tattoo, 3 freckle tattoos, 3 nose tattoos, 3 glossy lip tattoos, a no gloss lip tattoo and 5 brow shapes! I seriously can not imagine asking for or needing anything more! aida Ewing really did an amazing job and definitely listens to her customer's needs. Not to mention, caters to them too. Gia Pawpad, of "LoQ Hair" has been releasing the most fabulous new mesh hairstyles lately! I am in love with this new style called, "Beer". I also love the fact that she names all her hairstyles after drinks! Beer is so nicely rendered with yummy textures. I adore the side part and swept bang. The relaxed waves make this one smart style. This is another creation that you have to demo. Be sure to check out Gia's other new styles too!

Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo, recently created this exclusive and divine 'Poppy headpiece' for the FINESMITH SUMMER BOUTIQUE! It is available with red, yellow or blue poppies and just 200L per hat. I don't  think I want to to ever to take it off. LOL!

I can't believe it is the middle of May already! It is getting warm in NY, so I have been busy wardrobe shopping in RL too. My look for this post may seem a bit too warm for this time of year, but I could not resist pairing this fabulous mesh 'Shirt with Sweater' from Marry Lemur (of Overhigh) with these gorgeous mesh 'My First Jeans' from Morphine Janick (of [monso]). If I could translate my favorite pair of 'skinny jeans' into SL, they would be these. They come in bunch of lovely tones and are FaMESHed exclusive. The 'Shirt with Sweater' is too cute for words and although it is not an event exclusive (like most of the items in this post), it is a new release. It comes in a bunch of yummy colors as well.

 There are so many great shoe releases this month, so I had a seriously hard time deciding what shoes to wear with this outfit. I chose Harry Hyx's (of ISON) super chic 'billie patent heels'. I adore the sleek and strappy goodness of these beautiful mesh heels. As always, Harry renders his shoes to perfection. These heels are a Collabor88 exclusive, so you definitely want to run over and grab a pair in each color!

Tricky Boucher (of -Belleza-) just released a special edition of my beloved 'Ava' skin for the 'The 100 Block' event! She comes in a soft summery make-up and is available in all skin tones. I definitely suggest grabbing a demo and checking out this virtual 'Block Party'. Also be sure to run over to-Belleza- and buy their new 'avatar enhancement' appliers for your Slink hands and feet. If you are like me and hate matching skin tones, these are an inventory staple! Oh! Don't forget to look for the necklace and bracelet I am wearing from MiWardrobe, called 'Crosses in my soul'. One of new favorite hair styles right now, is the one I am wearing in this post. It is from Bubbles Clawtooth (of Clawtooth) and called, 'Lips Like Sugar'. It is also a May Collabor88 exclusive. So please try on some demos!

I know this post is getting long now and I should have broke it up into two posts! But, I guess it is too late. LOL. Kaz Nayer of PILOT, created this awesome 'Garden Shed' for May's Collabor88. I love all the amazing little details, like the rain barrel and hose. It is just what I needed to complete my SL home for this Summer. 

I added some cute decorative details from Winter Thorn of {what next}, which are all fairly new releases. Like this brilliant 'Boardwalk Bicycle Rezzer'. The rezzer comes with different LI options to fit your land's needs. It also comes with a rezzed male and female bicycle prop. The male bicycle is shown in this post. I absolutely can't get enough of Winter's items. She not only makes great homes and decor, but great 'movable props' (ie, bikes, kites, balloons, etc...). Her uber adorable 'Cornwall Daisies Planters' and 'Finsbury High Stool'. are shown in these pics too. Do yourself a favor and TP over to {what next} and check out her amazing creations.

I was not sure what to put inside this shed, so it may not make not sense. However, I have been dying to blog these items from Isla Gealach of Cheeky Pea. It is called the 'Hutton Set'. It is made up of beer bottle lanterns, recycled tables and keg stools. I think this is one of the most ingenious sets I have seen to date. The stools come in a ton of colors and patterns. This post is long overdue, but definitely worth the wait. Mimikri Kit's latest release, called "Valerie", is a gorgeous crocheted strapless dress. Mimikri's mesh is always well rendered and her textures are beyond gorgeous. I definitely urge you try a demo now!
There are also some amazing new releases from the April cycle of Collabor88. The theme is "Kitsch". I can just imagine how much fun all the designers had, while making their creation for this quirky theme. There is a beautiful new skin from -Glam Affair-, called "Margot". As all of aida Ewing's skins, she is absolutely stunning! The face is to die for and she has the most perfect pouty lips! I could not resist wearing this skin for this post. Make sure you try on demo ASAP!
I also chose to wear another Collabor88 exclusive for this post. It is a fabulous new hairstyle from LaViere, called "Gisele". Azure Electricteeth not only makes some of my most favorite clothes on the grid, but hair as well. This style is long, chic and sexy. Another item you must go and demo right away!

So, I am trying like mad to catch-up. LOL. I mean, what is new? As usual, for this cycle of FaMESHed there are soooooo many amazing creations to be found. I am wearing this uber cute striped dress from NyuNyu Kimono of Nyu. I love the chic simple lines that are decorated with horizontal stripes. NyuNyu's mesh and textures are always so lovely.

HANDverk also released these super sleek Shell Chairs. I think they definitely go with this mod theme that I am trying to achieve. I really adore HANDverk's originality and not to mention their extraordinary talent for creating mesh designs. So, please make sure you stop by the current cycle of FaMESHed and pick-up some awesome creations. 

Oh! I almost forgot to add that Izzie Button has just released another gorgeous new skin, called "Harlow" (hmmm...I wonder who that is named after?). As usual, Izzie's skin is flawless and beautiful. You get so many tattoo options with each base skin tone, which include: make-up layers, cleavage layers, freckle options and gloves for her prim nails. I am sure I forgot something, since Izzie always thinks of EVERYTHING! Plus, her skin is very inexpensive for all the options you get and also the amazing quality. With that said, here are your LMs:

Last Day for January Cycle of FaMESHed

The January cycle of FaMESHed is sadly coming to an end. As always, there are so many AMAZING original mesh creations to be found there. The fact that FaMESHed showcases all original (ie, no templates) mesh content, is one the main reasons that I really love this event. I think it is very important to focus on all of these talented designers, who have worked so hard to bring us some of best mesh creations in SL.
Hmmm, so where do I start? E! Eclectic Apparel! E! has come such a LONG way in the ranks of SL fashion. Their design team makes beautifully rendered mesh and pays a lot of attention to detail.  Each collection gets better and better with every release. In the following pictures, I am wearing their awesome 'Xanna' pants. They are perfect for any casual (but still chic) look. They also created a 'Libby' top to go with these pants. I was going to wear it for this post, but in the middle of a styling crisis, I found something I else I wanted to wear the top with. I really love mixing matching. Unfortunately, I ran out of time and was not able to take pics of it of yet. However, the 'Libby' top will be available in E! Mainstore, after FaMESHed ends. So, stay tuned for an upcoming post with that top. It is seriously cute!
NyuNyu Kimono of Nyu, is also another FaMESHed regular. I have come to love her sleek lines and minimalist approach to designing. Her clothes are always perfect for a more sophisticated look. Her 'Button Back Shirt', is a prime example of her gorgeous creations. I paired her dress with the super sexy new 'Spiked' pumps from FANATIK, which can also be found out at FaMESHed. They come in a TON of different colors and you can choose from silver or gold spikes (via a texture change HUD).
