Sneak Preview Of ROWNE! Store Grand Opening Today!

OMG! I am so excited and soooo late with this post! I don't know if you have heard, but there is an AMAZING new store and brand that is opening today, called ROWNE!

Who is ROWNE? Rowne is co-owned by the seriously talented team of Justice Topaz and Fashionboi Landar with Couleur Latoe joining as part of the design team! I have always been a HUGE fan of House of Fox, so I was ecstatic to hear about this incredible new venture and even more excited to be one of their bloggers.
*side note*I usually like to take more time with my pics and posts, but since I was running behind and the grand opening of this store is today, I decided to just post what I had finished. So, please stay tuned for more looks....

What can you expect from ROWNE?

ROWNE is "featuring essential items that are timeless; meant to be updated with seasonal pieces so you can continue to wear them throughout the year". I had a difficult time choosing items for this post, since they were all so beautiful. The clothing is made-up of soft and luxurious textures (knits, cottons and leathers) in classic colors that can be easily mixed and matched with anything in your wardrobe. After a couple hours of fussing with all the lovely separates, I finally decided on this yummy Athe Sweater paired with these gorgeous Steffen Shorts. The feel is truly timeless, classic and modern. The mesh is rendered to perfection and it is obvious that much time, thought and effort has been put into each and every item.

 I also added their Valor 2-Tone Clutch to the mix and it matched perfectly! There is so much more to see, so please stay tuned. Even better, you can see for yourself today!

IKON Destiny Eyes!

Due to the fact that I am slowest blogger on Earth, I don't usually do full reviews of anything. This is not because I do not want to, but because it literally takes me days to finish. LOL! However, I have done at least one full review of the items I love at one point or another. So, a review for IKON eyes was long overdue! Ikon Innovia won me over with his eyes back when they were called FASHISM. From the first time I tried them on, I never took them off! I am not a blogger who is loyal to just one designer, since I have so many favorites. However, 9 times out of 10, you can bet I am wearing Ikon's eyes. Actually, the percentage is higher then that. I have only made a few exceptions in the past, when it comes to blogging other eyes.
 It is really hard to choose a favorite collection or color of Ikon's eyes. Although, I have to admit both collections he has made for the 'The Boutique' event, are definitely in my top 5. These would include his 'Ardent' eyes and 'Destiny' eyes (pictured below). The 'Destiny' eyes are a Boutique exclusive this month. So you have until the 10th of June to grab them. If by chance you miss this cycle, they will be in the IKON mainstore after it is over.

Believe it or not, there are actually MORE eye colors to be found in this collection. I tried to show the best mixture of all the different hues available. These eyes are unbelievably realistic looking. Ikon has this amazing talent of mixing the perfect shades together. Whether they eyes are a pure color or a mix of contrasting tones, they are stunning! I also adore his reflection work in the cornea, which further enhances their sense of realism. It is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to pick a favorite shade! It is a good thing I am not loyal to just one eye color. Well, maybe my life would be a little easier. But, I have to admit that I am partial to the 'peach' and 'storm'. To top off my eye post, I chose some gorgeous new releases to show-off. I am wearing Izzie Button's  dazzling latest release. It is her 'Irene' skin. She comes in a zillion skin tones. Each skin tone comes with the following options: a mod/copy shape (I'm  am wearing my own), 11 eye tattoos, 12 lip tattoos, an eyeliner tattoo, a freckles tattoo, gloves for prim nails, a mole tattoo, 4 brow colors (embedded in skin), a cleavage option (embedded in skin) and a brow shape. Irene is beautifully rendered and comes with a ton of options. Izzie really caters to her customer's needs and for a very nice price! Please try on a demo ASAP!

Truth Hawks is back on track and creating more fabulous hair! I love this new short and sassy style, called "Charlize". This is the perfect style for the warmer weather that has come our way. Please be sure to TP over to the new TRUTH store and try on his latest releases!

Last, but definitely least! AvaGardner Kungler recently released a gorgeous new collection, called "Primavera". It is made up of brilliant necklaces and rings that have a very organic feel to them. Think of over-sized and bejeweled wild flowers and fruit flies. I know these may sound like strange elements for a jewelry collection, but they are extremely beautiful! For this post, I wearing Ava's 'Khloris' necklace in golden. I needed earrings, so I chose these awesome new earrings from Caelan Hancroft of Cae! These 'Kasbah' earrings are FaMESHed exclusive this month and are just too amazing for words! The metal and jewels are texture change too! Awesome Newness from TRUTH and S H I N E

I am pretty sick, so I will have to make this short and sweet. I have two gorgeous new releases from hair stylist extraordinaire, Truth Hawks. One is long and whispy style, which is pulled back at the top and secured with a color change clip, called 'Mandy'. She is very reminiscent of last summer's 'Vera', who I adored as well, There is also a cute and super high side ponytail, called 'Priscilla'. Both comes with bang option and streaked version.

Emery Finds Love....

If you liked the 'Teagan' skin line from Grixdale, then you will LOVE the new 'Emery' line.You may have seen the exclusive edition of 'Emery' at the January session of CHIC Limited, where so many of us were won over by her. Now, Tyr Rozenblum just created a special Valentine's Day edition of  'Emery', called 'Emery Falls in Love'. I know this sounds cheesy, but you will definitely fall in love with this latest release. 'Emery' comes 5 gorgeous skin tones ( 4 of which I will show you) and 2 different make-ups per skin set. She aslo has a cleavage option as well. The first make-up, called 'Be Mine', is not too heavy and has the most perfect shade of pink on the nice full lips. Yay! This week has been an amazing week for Truth's new releases. All of them are them are extremely amazing and I am loving each style to death! It's it seriously impossible to pick a favorite. So, my pictures will be in no specific order. 

First, I have 'Tatum'. She is a long and whispy haired beauty with an awesome 'beret-style' hat that is just perfect for this time of year. The hat has a much beloved color/ texture change menu with 16 colors to choose from. 'Tatum' comes in a plain and streaked version too.

New from TRUTH!

For the new year, Truth Hawks released 3 fabulous styles for us to start it off right. Each gorgeous and superbly crafted piece comes in the usual plain and streaked versions. However, this time, Truth added an uber cute clip that has 12 color change options or you can opt for it to be invisible. I LOVE every design, but my favorite has to be Ava. So I will start with her first. Ava is luxuriously long and straight, but still retains the whispy bounce that we have all come to love from Truth's products.

1.1.11 - First Look of The Day and Year ( Feat. Modd. G )

Wow! 2011! We are officially head-on into a new decade. The arrival of this new year brings on A LOT of reflection of years past and what the future holds in store. I am reminded of the people in my life who I am thankful for and gifts that I once may thought of as a burden. Now, much of these realizations are personal, so I won't get it into here. So, I figured I would state quickly where I would like to see this blog going in the new year.
I have come a long way in SL. Not only is is new year for me, but I am now one year old and my blog is almost 8 months old. I came into this knowing nothing and had no idea I would even get this far. I have so many people to thank for this and I think you all know who you are. What I would like to implement into this blog, are more 'LOTD' type styling. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE featuring designer's new releases, especially those that I love and respect. However, I also would like to show more of my own style. LiLO Glom has released yet another gorgeous new skin to her already amazing collection. This skin is called 'Moga'. 'MoGa', like all of LiLO's skins, has luscious and well defined lips. The eyes are stunning and the body is rendered perfectly. I always adore LiLO's special attention to the neckline and stomach. 'MoGa' comes withs a ton of wear options as well. The skin comes in 3 tones... dark, tan and light. It has 5 make-ups to choose from and each make-up comes with a 'natural version' and 'make-up' version. Plus, to top it all off, LiLO included a teeth tattoo layer with skin. So, you can up opt to wear 'MoGa' with or without teeth. 'The Daringly Sweater' from E! Eclectic Apparel

Eclectic Wingtips just recently release another fabulous design that is also know as the 'Daringly Sweater'. Now, it may be a warm and cozy sweater, but it has a daringly low neckline. Just becuase it's winter apparel, doesn't mean that it can't still be very sexy. Once again, I am truly in awe at Eclectic's eye for detail and overall talent. Her designs are expertly shaded and perfectly rendered. Eclectic is definitely an amazing artist. The 'Daringly Sweater' is one more incredible piece to add to her repertoire.
This dress comes in 14 brilliant colors and 2 different size options for the collar and skirt prim. It comes in just about every layer imaginable, so the layering options are endless. LOTD -12.4.10 Feat. *BOOM* and a few other amazing new releases!

Things have been pretty crazy with my RL. I haven't been well and just had ambulatory surgery and am currently recovering at home, so I apologize for any late reviews.  However, in all this madness, SLs designers and artists have been a huge distraction and outlet for me. I am thankful for this. One of the main reasons I started this blog, was to play to homage to all the amazing work that has been created in this virtual medium. It also provoked me to expand my own creative interests in photography and writing. So, thank you to all the incredible artists and visionaries in SL!
Anyway, enough of that mushy stuff! There have been some more amazing new releases in SL fashion, which are predominantly making up my LOTD. Aranel Ah just created some awesome new scarves, rightly called 'Righteous Muff", which are made up of the most fabulous textures and shading. Plus, they come with a cool mouth attachment that makes you look like you are breathing cold air. And, as always, they come is just about every color imaginable, including sepia for the upcoming weekly color challenge. I'm a little late to the 52 color blogger challenge, so I decided to wear the 'plum' colored muff to make-up for last weeks challenge. I know, lame....

I am also wearing the new preview version of the new '.ILLUSORY.' skin by Crushed Clarity. It is absolutely stunning and I can't take it off. I can't wait to see the whole line! I also threw on the new 'Delta Open Jacket' from moddishh GossipGirl, which is perfect for layering. Actually, most of moddishh's designs are great for layering. She has become one of my favorite 'go to' designers when I need certain piece to complete my look. Like, all the other designers listed here, her designs are hand drawn and are expertly rendered.
