Although The Weather Outside Is Frightful....

I really should be singing 'White Chirstmas', because for the first time in 'I-don't- know-how-many-years', it snowed for Christmas. I have been seeing tons of amazing Holiday exclusives that have been released by my favorite designers. So, it was ridiculously hard to choose what to wear for my Holiday post. Maylee Oh, of The Secret Store, won me over with her super cute and beautiful Holiday exclusive items, which are available for around 45L. I mean, how can you NOT love this uber adorable 'Oh Deer' sweater?! The dear wearing vintage glasses is just too good to pass up! This 'crepe skater skirt' is so lovely, feminine and can definitely be worn all year round. And, of course, I LOVE these cherry polka dot 'Cristmas Tights'. To complete this Holiday look, I chose one of my favorite new hair styles from ::Exile::, called 'Raspberry Beret'. However, despite this style's namesake, the beret can be changed to almost any color via texture-change script.

Christmas 2010 at The Plastik

I need to be honest about the fact that I have been fussing over this post for awhile now. Aikea Rieko's designs are always so amazing that I just want to pay due homage with my photos. Now it's the morning of Christmas Eve and I just finally finished my editing after much deliberation, and I can't even upload to blogspot or Flickr! So, I do apologize for my tardy post and a few more that are on their way. I really got hit this Holiday Season with a lot of RL stuff, so my workflow definitely suffered. Anyway, enough whining already....
Aikea put out one incredible collection for Christmas. She basically did a Holiday variation of every item in her store! And not just clothes, all her skins as well! I am always awe struck after trying on her latest hand drawn textures. They are truly a work of art in their own right. I literally could go on and on about how talented Aikea is and how gorgeous her designs are, but pictures do speak a thousand words. So, if you haven't picked-up any of her clothes or skins for the Holiday (even if it is last minute), I suggest you go now! Many of these pieces, especially the skins, could be worn all year round. The Snowflake Experience! Calling all Bloggers!

With the Holidays coming up what better time then to be giving to so many great charities? The Snowflake Experience includes SIXTY stores (Ten great kids stores and Fifty amazing adult brands) Each store will have a charity exclusive which proceeds benefit Toys for Tots (www.toysfortots.org), there will also be a gacha festival and a sim wide hunt!
