The Home Show Featuring Pixel Mode

Tya Fallingbridge is so talented! From shoes to home decor, she creates it all! She also makes such items, which are perfect mesh renderings, with an extraordinary eye for detail and texture. One such creation, is her Home Show exclusive, 'The Lake House'.

 This cozy little home is simple yet luxurious. The house is semi-furnished too! It comes with a yummy over-sized white linen bed, which has tons of amazing animations (you can choose from Adult or PG versions of the house) as well as props.

It also has large walk-in shower with a stone floor and more animations (single and couple). Oh! And there is also a stunning ceiling fan over the bed.

Now, if you like lots of light, this is definitely the perfect home for you, since it is surrounded by floor to ceiling windows and sky lights.

What better way is there to celebrate the end of Summer, but by wearing this fabulous 'KAPADA' dress from Applonia Criss's 'Pre-Fall Collection' at CHANTKARE? I was literally in awe over Applonia's amazing use of 'thick linen' textures and 'muted' colors. Her adept use of sculpts, which also move so well with my avi, make this one perfectly stunning dress! Staying Cool in MichaMi

The extremely intense heat is still plaguing NYC! Blah! Thankfully, since I am indoors in the a/c, I can post about some cool summer looks. Now, I know this fabulous 'print dress', from awesome designer Milla Michinaga of MichaMi, is not a recent release. However, this piece is definitely a classic that I feel definitely deserves another showing. I love the simple A-line shape and paisley-like print. Yellow Buttercup...

I have been a bit "under-the-weather", so I have been working on this post in bit and pieces over the last day. It should have been posted last night, but I had no energy to finish my last couple of pics or even attempt editing. *Laughs* Anyway, if you read my blog or know me, then you will also know that I have started to fall in love with bright colors. You know, like yellow, orange, etc... I am a native Manhattanite, who loves her black and neutral tones, when it comes to clothes. However, something crazy has been happening to me and I can't get enough of these brilliant shades. Now, this trend has not yet infiltrated my RL, except for bright splashes of colors found on choice accessories. But, I have definitely been living out this obsession in my SL. So, now that I have accrued so much yellow, I figured I would devote a post to it. You may want to wear your sunglasses, but I tried to tone it down. I am a bit tired at the moment, becuase I spent hours editing these pics and I am not that happy with them.*laughs* If I had I time, I would do these over, but I don't. So, please forgive my over-worked look. However, the clothes definitely outshine my pics. Mimikri Kit's creations have the ability to bring style and general fabulousity to any pic. The first two pieces that I have for you are meant to be worn together. However, you can wear them separately too. They are sold as separates as well, but I figured I would feature them in one style, since they are Mimikri's latest release. These lovely creations would also be known as the ' Luca Dress in avocado & LucaPython Jacket in camouflage'. They come in a ton of other amazing colors as well. It's almost impossible to pick a favorite. I am also showing a creation that is absolutely gorgeous, but not a recent release. I really felt this deserved to be posted, since I absolutely adore it and it also has the same texturing as the first outfit. This piece is called the 'Tahnee Suede top and skirt in cognac'.
Mimikri's creations are so well rendered and truly classic pieces that will add instant style to any girl's inventory. Such The Perfectionist....

Ahhh!!! Okay, you would think that with my laptop working and things completely up to par, that so would my posts. But, this post took apprx 24 hrs to complete! It wasn't because I ran into any problems, well...except for myself. *Laughs* I wanted my "come back" posts to be PERFECT! So, I fussed and fussed... and then fussed some more. The more I fuss the worse it gets. I guess I am also paying too much attention to my 'flickr' feedback, which has decreased some. I automatically think that this means my work is going downhill. Well, maybe that is why I have less feedback, or it could just mean nothing. I remember getting excited over the fact that I had 10 views. I was like, "OMG! Ten people actually looked at my picture!". Now, if I don't get close to 10 favs or more, I feel like something is majorly wrong. I don't know if this is just me, who gets like this over flickr feedback, or if many of you feel the same.
Anyway, I have A LOT of great stuff to show you! I have Sebastien Aries's exclusive styles for 'Hair Fair 2011'. Can I just tell you that Sebastien really hit the ball out of the park with these 2 styles?! He created a sex-kittish style, called 'Ingenue', which is adorned with perfect tiara. I mean, what girl does not love a tiara? And, just in case you don't, there is an option to go sans tiara. Sebastien then created a short and very sassy "do", called 'Bombshell', that is to die for! Plus, you have got to love how he names his hair. It makes his beautifully textured styles even more impossible to resist. My First Post With A Working Laptop! This is also feat. *Mimikri* and "LoQ Hairs" from Hair Fair 2011!

Wow! I couldn't believe how fast it took me to complete this post with a working laptop! No crashes, no freezes, no overheating, no extremely slow rez time and NO frustration! Yay! Anyway, I think I found the perfect combo of creations to go with this first post. I have finally been able to style and takes pics of a couple of my favorite designs from Mimikri Kit! I love her classic sexy style mixed with a tiny bit of bohemian flare. This is always a perfect mix for me. I have been long time fan of Mimikri's designs, so it really is an honor to work with her fabulous creations.
I also got a chance to post some amazing new hair styles, which you can find at 'Hair Fair 2011', from the wonderful Gia Pawpad of "LoQ Hairs". I have always loved her hair styles, but let me just tell you.... Gia really outdid herself with this release! Her texturing is on a whole other level and the designs are stunning! I am really in love with her new collection.
You will also notice that I am wearing a fabulous new pair of 'Koda Platform Pumps' from Stevenzuuh Gossipgirl of Fleshtone. These new shoes are incredible! They definitely satisfied my massive shoes addiction, at least for a couple of days. They come  in ton of brilliant colors and you definitely need them ALL!

It's been really tough lately to get my posts out in a timely fashion. Plus, I fear the quality and look of pics are suffering too. I am trying to be patient, while I wait to receive another laptop. I hope it is soon...
