My Two LOTD feat. =Razorblade Jacket=

I must apologize in advance for the quality of these photos, since I have been having major problems taking pics in SL as of late. So, with that piece of info out of the way, I decided on two LOTD for Sunday. I had just recently went down to =Razorblade Jacket= to check out Kehl Razor's designs. Now, =Razorblade Jacket=  is a name that I am familiar with and have seen Kehl's pieces on the feeds and from various hunts.. However, it was when Kehl's CEO, Heather Smithson, contacted me that I decided to take a closer look. Thank you Kehl and Heather! There clothes definitely have a 'grungy' and progressive edge. And I really like the fact that they are extremely well rendered and have amazing detail. Plus, they have a lot of new pieces for women. These designs can be layered or worn alone. So, here is what I put together.....

I must admit that I am totally in LOVE with these 'Grunge Capris'. And, I the 'Grunge Dark Jeans' are definitely new a favorite. Especially with their super low cut and perfectly shredded denim, which are a refreshing change from many of the jeans I have been wearing lately. New Releases from 'HYPER CULTURE' & Finesmith Designs

Wow! What a week! We have had a lot of amazing new releases and a lot of very cool events happening. So, of course,I have some fabulous new releases to show you. I have an incredible new dress from HYPER CULTURE and some gorgeous and very progressive jewelry from Finesmith Designs.
Christensia Parkin has just created two new beautiful lace dresses, called 'Slecna' and 'Slecna 2', to add to her best seliing 'Black Lace Collection'.They are two ultra sexy, yet elegant, black lace mini dresses that are revealing in just the right places. These designs are a bit are 'see-through', but still maintain a sense of modesty (i.e., no need to cover-up the nipples).  Plus, Christensia gives you three different wear options for the panties, so you can decide how much skin you want to show. Both pieces are absolutely divine and expertly crafted. But, then again, I would expect nothing less from Christensia.This is the perfect dress for an evening out or you can just wear the top layer with jeans and jacket for a more casual look. They are definitely two new favorite items of mine. So, enough of my babbling, so you can check of 'Slecna' for yourself.

Now with gorgeous dresses, come gorgeous jewelry. Finesmith Designs is one of the first places that comes to mind when I think of jewelry. Once again, Yula Finesmith has been hard at work, creating pieces that set the trends. Her new line of jewelry is called, 'In The Flash'. I like to think of it as, 'In The Flesh', since Yula has incorporated the idea of acupuncture needles into jewelry. Yula wanted to design something that only the physics of SL could uphold. This resulted in necklaces without chains and earring that plug right into the ear. This is definitely a first for SL and RL, at least to my knowledge, and the outcome is brilliant.

More TRUTH!

What a crazy week! Is it just me or is SL completely borked? I have been having issues taking pics in areas that are not, for the most part, completely empty and prims just do not want to attach to my avi, It's was bad enough when things like this would happen before I started blogging, but now this just can't happen! Anyway, what can you do? Clear cache, reboot and pray (not necessarily in that order). On a much lighter and happier note, Truth Hawks has, yet again, released some awesome new hair styles, which includes another new style men. And, since I haven't made a male avi just yet, I have turned 'Liam' into a unisex style. I have never been one for really short hair, at least on myself, in RL and SL. It always looks great on others, but I never feel completely comfortable wearing it. I have seen 'Liam' on other avis and think this style is amazing. So, I figured I would give it another shot and you can let me know what you think.

Besides 'Liam', we have three new styles for women. First we have 'Madeline', because she is my favorite style week. It's always very difficult to pick a favorite 'do' and sometimes I honestly can not. However, I love 'Madeline's' soft look and loosely wrapped side chignon. I also made a point this week of trying to show many of Truth's new hair colors, which are absolutely yummy!

Then we have 'Nina', who feels a bit 80's retro to me. Her hair is full and edgy, much like the styles one would see around the early to mid 80s. Of course, Truth reinvents this look with a much more  progressive twist, making 'Nina' absolutely  irresistible. Plus, like all the other new releases, she comes with standard version and streaked version with 63 colors/ textures to choose from. I have been going nuts with streaked version! I mean, 63 colors to choose from is A LOT and way too much fun to play with.

And last, but definitely not least, we have 'Chantelle'. 'Chantelle' is simply adorable with a partial 'updo', leaving lots of room for her perfectly wavy hair to fall. Truth designs this style in such a way that it frames the face very nicely. A 'must have' addition to one's hair inventory.

The Jaida Dress from [Plastik]

Aikea Rieko has really outdone herself again with the 'Jaida Dress'. This piece is simply stunning. Plus, everything is hand drawn and scanned by Aikea herself. This dress is truly a work of art. I just love the sensual lines and the  floral appliques on the bust and bottom of the skirt. I wish I could wear this this in RL, but gravity wouldn't allow that fabulous top to stay put. As always, Aikea's prim work is exceptional and seamless. Plus, the dress comes in 10 luscious colors that are all extracted from elements in nature. The contest will run for 10 weeks and every week there's one unique theme that will test your creative stylings! Research the fashion and art styles using exclusively the Jewelries from Finesmith Jewelry. Create that one breathtaking look that will take you to the finals. Interpret the theme into your own vision and let us see it on the runway.

How to be a part of the FINESMITH STYLE ABOUT..

1. Join the Finesmith group and be one of the followers of the blog and be updated for the latest release/new collections.

Yula Finesmith, jewelry designer extraordinaire, has been working hard again to create new and exciting pieces. Suffice to say, Yula has done just that. She has two amazing new collections that are both stunning and unique. She has definitely mastered the art of turning prims into wearable works of art.
The piece that I will show you first, is from Yula's 'Disturbia Collection'. It's a very progressive take on a veil. The metal work is outstanding and the whole piece is very provocative. Plus, it has built in color/ texture change menu, where you can choose from 8 metals and 13 gorgeous gems.

Now if that wasn't enough on its own, Yula also created an awe inspiring collection, called 'Chloe's Hallucination'. It comes with a pair of earrings, a necklace, a collar and 2 bracelets. LOTD -11.11. 10 - Monday Mix-up

Wow! The weekend went just way to fast! I do not want to accept the fact that it is Monday and I just want to crawl back under the covers and go back to sleep. Unfortunately, that's not possible. So, I am finally awake, sort of, and creating my first post of the day. This look is made up of bunch of my favorite pieces that I found while lurking around in my inventory. I am not wearing anything that it's very new, except my hair, but these are all classic designs that will definitely be around and available for awhile.

I stated out with this incredible and cozy 'Long Knit Gown' from  +KiiToS!!+, which  I think Aurora blogged on here awhile back. But, since Aurora and I tend to often buy that same pieces, it doesn't come as much of surprise.

Then I remembered I had these amazing 'Lo' socks from MIEL.  So  of course, I needed a great skirt to go with them. And usually when I think of 'great', designers like Onyx LeShelle (Maitryea), come to mind. Her 'Cleo Jean Skirt' and 'Long Scarf' were perfect additions to my outfit. I was then missing one more thing....A shirt. The 'V-neck tee' from *COCO* definitely did the trick. I hope you like.......
