This is most a mixture of different pieces I picked up at the 'Summer of Love Fair'. All the designers really have outdone themselves in regard to bringing specially created pieces for this special event. I think we have all been affected by mental illness one way or another. Many of us quietly suffer in pain from the myriad of psychological disorders out there or have been left feeling helpless, while watching a loved one suffer from such diseases, This is a truly a cause close to my heart. Some more "Love" from aDIVA Couture

I am wearing one more amazing outfit from aDIVA Couture that is currently available at the "Summer of Love Fair". This piece is quite accurately named, "Gelato Crinkle Tropical Blouse with Jeans Shorts". If you remember, I just reviewed a fabulous jumper from aDIVA in the same fabric. Once again, I am truly amazed with AnneJoy Paine's sense of style. I am even more amazed that she can execute her ideas so flawlessly. I just adore how the blouse hugs my body and is cropped just enough to show the perfect amount of skin. The contrast of the flared ruffle sleeves adds that extra something special, which sets this piece apart from so many other outfits of this type. The unbuttoned shorts makes this outfit super sexy. Now this look can look can end up appearing a bit slutty, but AnneJoy manages to balance out everything with her carefully crafted cuffs and "not too" short shorts. *LOL* I still can't get over AnneJoy's meticulous detailing and beautifully made textures. It's definitely a major winner in my book.

Summer of Love with 'Alexohol & aDORKable'

Lila and I decided to chill out on the beach in some of the sexy designs available from Alexohol at the Fair. Coming in a selection of rich vibrant colours these pieces are perfect for lazing on the beach or playing water fights like Lila and I are in these pics. All of Alexohol pieces are hightly detailed with good use of shading in the textures to give the clothing a more realistic feel. The bikinis I especially liked as they are sexy and well cut without showing too much and making them a bit street corner looking. After getting the sand out my shorts as Lila beat me in our water fight we slipped into something a little smarter to watch the sunset. Lila is wearing the cute Bellini shorts that come with prim cuffs bringing them to life and the Sunshine top that is just adorable. I slipped into the Caymen sunset dress that has a highly detailed bodice and lovely prim skirt. I also have to mention the poses that we used in this set and I have to say THEY ARE AWESOME. The Water Fight set that aDORKable have at the fair are just so much fun and Lila and I really enjoyed playing with these even though she kicked my butt into the sand :P. She may be small but she can use that water pistol like John Wayne on crack. Broken Doll was name that Kierra and I were not too familiar with until Marja Languish sent us some pieces to review for the "Summer of Love Fair". Thank you Marja!Wow! Were we in for a huge and wonderful surprise! Marja has very unique style that is a basically girly with an edge. She uses very delicate and eloquent textures, which appeals to my feminine side. Then she takes things to another level, like with the "On the Farm" outfit. I love the ultra frilly "farm girl" look, but Marja adds the droplets on blood as another dress option. This is definitely favored by my darker side. And we all have a dark-side that is just waiting to come out! He-he!

Wow! The so many incredible pieces from Sl's best designers. Another one of these amazing designers, is Bela Tolsen, who is the designer of *TuttiFrutti*. Bela graciously dropped me some of her "Summer of Love" creations and I was impressed to say the least. Thanks Bela! I just love Bela's use of bright color mixed with hand painted textures. And, once again, I adore the bohemian flare mixed with psychedelic colors and low hip-hugging jeans and leggings. These are perfect summer pieces that will definitely make a statement. Plus, they are a lot of fun and represent summer's "free-spirited" feeling and warm essence. So, here is yet another preview, from Kiera Seerose. Kiera is not only an incredible event organizer & blogger, but a fabulous designer as well! I really don't know how she manages to do it all and to pull it all off with such great style. But she does! So here are some uber cool tees from [III]. They come in in may colors/prints for both men and women. Kierra (DD Kierra) had to get out her male avi for this one. *LOL*. Kiera, the designer of [III], also made some beautiful dresses, aptly named "The Darkest Summer". Oh and I forgot to mention, Ms. Seerose designs skins as well! Wow! You have got to love Noreia Owen's take on "Lady Gaga". I especially adore the fact that Gaga has raven hair wrapped with her signature aluminum can curlers. This is just one amazing example of some of Noreia's more fantasy inspired looks that will be found at the "Summer of Love Fair". She is definitely one of SL's most imaginative artists.

I paired the "Gaga" outfit with :Fusion's: "Rosary Necklace". This is not my best example of close-up up detailing, since I am recent GIMP convert and desperately missing the ease of Photoshop. *LOL*. I just love the gothic inspired cross in a pewter-like texture. The beads are full of luminous sculpts and an "eye-popping" glow. Simply lovely. adria Joubert is an up and coming jewelry designer that you simply can not miss at the fair.

I would love to do one of my more in depth reviews for ~*INDIE ROSE*~ that so many of you have become of accustomed to, but this is for the upcoming "Summer of Love Fair". And since we have so many wonderful designers to post, who are also involved with the fair, I must keep things short and sweet.

I have always seen and admired Angelina Eizenberg's work from afar, but this time I was lucky enough to work "up close and personal" were her designs. Thank you Angelina! I am sure you all know by now that I am a huge fan of "boho chic" this season. So I was even more overjoyed when I tried on these gorgeous "Boho Chiffon Jumpers". The delicious colors and textures are simply divine. The fit is superb, not one edit needed! Angelina's expert prim work makes this jumper truly flow with ever subtle movement. This is a wardrobe "MUST HAVE"! However, you must wait until July 17Th at 12 GMT to purchase this at the fair. So keep watching the blog and we will post the LM as soon as we have the go ahead. Woot! The "Summer of Love Fair" is just around corner! So until then, Keirra and I will be featuring some of the incredible pieces that will be displayed by some of SL's greatest designers. AnneJoy Paine is one of these amazing designers, who has been working hard to create exclusive pieces for fair. I have always been a huge fan of AnneJoy's creations, which range from "haute couture" gowns to pieces that have a more exotic and bohemian flavor. In the top picture, I am sporting aDIVACouture's "Lileya Ethnic Halter Dress". This summer dress just screams high style and boho chic, which is not an easy task to pull off. But Annejoy's keen eye for detail and careful craftsmanship, make this one gorgeous piece. I just love the tiny features that AnneJoy attends to, such as the sculpted prim bow in the back. This dress also comes with the beautiful "Lileya Ethnic Vintage Shoulder Saddle Bag". I just can't take my eyes off the faded leather texture that is delightfully embroidered with gold and adorned with bits of turquoise and lapis stones. As you can see, there is also an adorable vintage necklace bag to match. Sheer perfection.

In the bottom and third picture, I am wearing aDIVA Couture's "Gelato Crinkle Tropical Jumpsuit". The yummy sherbet colors and gauzy fabric make this one cool and appetizing piece. This is the quintessential summer jumper, which also comes with a fabulous matching " Gelato Straw Summer Hat". Once again, AnneJoy's expert prim work and hand drawn textures, make this one extraordinary piece. I have had a lot of issues with jumpers that I have recently tried, but this fits me to a "T". And the hat! I don't want to take it off! *LOL* Like most women, I have an accessory fetish and hats play a big part of my ginormous inventory. I mean, who can't resit the adeptly drawn straw texture and diaphanous scarf, which is so neatly wrapped around it.
